Proud owner of a new C55 AMG!! Yeah!
Hello!!
I just thougth to share my happiness of owning a new C55. I just got it last Saturday and I love the car.
I have a few questions and I was wondering if you guys can help:
1. Bluetooth (BT). I have read thru the forum and I find treads about UHI & MHI. So the question is is this just a craddle and not a BT accesory? Do I need to buy the UHI or MHI then the BT adaptor? How much is a UHI or MHI and where do I get it? Is it a an easy DIY project to install UHI or MHI?
1b. Does any one have a way to taking the command system out. I have my old BT adapter 9Soniercisson) and I was wondering if I can connect while I get a cool BT adaptor for my car.
2. Command system:
I read thur th forum and found soe helpfull info, but still not clear if I can view DVD and how to enable the DVD function on my command system. My model is 2006.
Also how do I get the engineering menu? I tried Serv+Mute+End, but nothing happen.
3. Accesories, Do you guys know of any links that sells cool accesories. I am looking for steering wheel cover, and chrome outside mirrors covers. And also what about performance?? Any links or what can I do to the car.
Any info or feedback in any of these question greatly appreciated. Man I love the car, it is awesome!!!

Please, please don't do this!! Your car is way too nice for chrome mirrors!!! If you do the mirrors, you will need to find some curb feelers to go with them, or some neon lights under the car! And why on earth would you want to cover up that awsome AMG steeing wheel??? Maybe swap it for an E55 wheel with the birds eye maple.

Beleive me, I aint no redneck. Maybe my comments were taken wrong, thats why I did not get responses.
I aint that nuts, and redneck to put neon ligths under the car. The steering wheel was because my previous car S4 sterring wheel took a beating and turn nasty after a while, so I really dont want that to happen to my new car.
The side mirrors, chrom or aluminum I saw them at the Park Place accesory store so I was wondering if there is another place for better pricing.
I am totally with you bro, I aint buying a car to completly disgrace it. Sorry if I created confusion.

dingleberry you do not know my financial status, i will not discuss my financial status, and i will not argue with you about my purchases. i purchased my c55 at age 18 with some pennies i've been saving up all my life (i've never made a purchase over $100 prior to buying the car) and now i have a stable job while going to college. i'm buying a 911 turbo or an e55 this summer. good day to you.
