Black on black...I think every option.
Still waiting out the break in period though. 930 more miles to go!

Any cool tricks with this car?
Can I get the AMG logo to show up instead of the MB on the start up of Command?
(will post more pics later...hellish hot today!)

beautiful...expecially without the front plate mounted. i look at my car everyday and think about getting the front bumper repainted and holes filled in so it can look as nice like yours.

As far as changing the startup logo, AFAIK, no. C55's NAV is Alpine, while the E, CLS and other is Becker. So the 3-5-7 or whatever trick posted in the forum doesn't work.

Congrats, love that absolute clean looking!
The 'true' break-in period is 30,000 km for my C55. Now, the engine is quiet , smooth, more responsive and much better gas milege ever since passed 30,000km.

Thanks for the comments! ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I really don't need to go into the city, where the front plate rule is inforced a lot. So I declined the offer for a front plate.
There is a sticker saying, do not go past 4500rpm for the first 1000 miles. My first AMG...so I'm not going to test it.
True break in eh? Sound slike I'm going to have to wait a while.

There is no way I will engine-brake (downshift the tranny to 2/3 at high speed) a brand new car under the first 1000km, particularly, we are talking about a monster 367hp 52kg/m torque engine.

I'll probably go to the second meet, I'll be in boston for the first one.
Take some pics will ya?
I'll will exert some self control and just ride it smooth in C mode for a while.
And that CF lip looks really sharp! Need to get some more money first...
But I want to change the shift knob first! I hate this blank painted silver thing! When I first glanced through the windows I thought it had Keyless-go...but no! It's just plastic!
I want to get something like the one in the C350, with the Benz Star.

Merlot interior isn't as awesome as you thought. it's just ok.. I've read someone said in the forum that it wouldn't be as easy to find a buyer who liked the color combo should you decide to sell the car.
