35mm Offset wheels don't fit c32 up front

Hey Guys, I just bought a set of 17x8 wheels all 4 have an offset of 35mm
I tried one on the front of my c32 and it hits the caliper, I believe the stock wheels have an offset of 37mm in the front, Does that mean I have to 2mm spacers? Or does it vary from wheel to wheel? Also where is the best place to purchase spacers?
Thanks Pete

Wheel fitment has to do with more than just offset. You have to take into account the spoke shape/thickness, among other things, in order to determine if the specific wheel will clear BBK's and/or coilovers.

It varies from wheel to wheel.. They need to clear the calipers up front. The smallest spacers I have seen are 3mm.. The more common ones are 5mm 10mm 15mm.. I would think most wheel shops would have them. There are quite a few on ebay right now.. I think I saw some in the classifieds recently too..

Good luck

Wheel off set

I think if you look in your owners manual. Purple section ,
tech data Tire & wheel. you will find the offset.
37mm Front ?
30 mm rear ?

a simple clarification on offset for everyone that don't know.

If your wheels are et35 by adding spacers onto the wheels the offset decreases. I.E. et35 with a 5mm spacer makes the offset et30.

The smaller # the offset the more the wheel sticks out.

The right offset also doesn't mean that it would clear the larger calipers because there are many designs.

cheers

A 40mm or a 30mm offset could work if the relationship of the hub mounting surface on the wheel to the back side of the spokes was designed correctly. Many of the C Class wheels available do not fit the C32 due to the brake upgrade. Even if you got a 37mm offset wheel that matches factory spec offset, it may not fit due to this important measurement relationship. Time for some RENNtech's! And they even fit a monster BBK!!

name brands such as Brabus, Carlsson, Lorinser, RENNTech, Kleemann, AMG, all have their wheels designed to fit the BBK. Most of their closer copy replicas also can fit 80% of the time. You will want to start from there unless you are going with custom Forged wheels which they will make each wheel to your spec.
