I just bought my first AMG!!
Hello,
I just bought my first AMG - 2006 C55 AMG. AWESOME CAR!
While scouring the net for goodies to start my wish list for the car, I found this forum and you guys. I have a lot of questions. I hope that some of you AMG MBZ veterans can help me out.
1.) Is their an official list of C or AMG sites that have a good wealth of information, aftermarket or OEM?
2.) Are there tune shops in Southern California / Orange County that is proficient in AMG or C 55s? Like coil over installations and Chiptunning.
3.) Are there chapters in this org site?
4.) On the more technical side, does anyone follow the MFR maintenance recommendations? Do you really wait until 10,000 miles for your first tune up?
5.) Did anyone buy the Sirius Radio plug in to their C55? Did you pay $600.00 plus install?
6.) Last one for today. What is the most extreme mod you can get on a C55? I use to have a 800 HP Supra, who's got the highest HP C55?

SoCal (HuningtonBeach) tuner and they are a sponsor of this forum.
They have the highest hp C32 (I think, Vadim did).
C55, I think Dragon had or BennyZ. I dont' keep up with this forum as much as the others :o

Congrats on the new purchase and welcome aboard. 
I want to say the highest amount of HP obtainable without nitrous or major internal work is probably around the high 500HP range. That's just based on the cars that have passed through here.

Congratulations. I just took the keys of my first today too. An AMG wagon.
The front has been 3-m'ed and the color is black so I am not too sure I should keep the taping, altho it will be a city ride and prone to chips etc. What's the general consensus on 3-m on black? You can definitely see the seams.
Kind of a bummer, but practical.
