that is surprising considering the AMG tranny shifting quicker and able to handle the power...

I am getting ready to order one from SLKFans and he recommends getting the less aggressive one. The aggressive one is the one for manuals and the less aggressive one is for automatics. For the C32 AMG, the automatic one will be the less aggressive one. But if you put the manual on it, it will be more aggressive and apparently people do this. Does anyone have the manual/aggressive sprintbooster on their C32 AMG?

You really don't have a choice. There's only two model. The "a" model is for car with automatic tranny and the other model is for car with manual tranny.

You do have a choice if you have a manual. You can put on either the manual/'aggressive'/'old' version, or the auto/'less aggressive'/'new' version. If you have an auto, you gotta use the auto.

No, you can put either on either. People with manuals can choose to have either the manual or the automatic one. The manual one will be more aggressive for them and the automatic one will tone it down a notch. I have read that several people in M3s actually downgraded from the aggressive/manual one to the automatic/less aggressive one. Also, you CAN put a manual one on the C32 even though it is an automatic. It will make it more aggressive as compared to the automatic one. However, slkfans, the guy I will be purchasing my sprintbooster from, recommended that the automatic one should be sufficient for the C32 as the manual/more aggressive one might actually be too aggressive/too touchy.

i think i would agree with that last statement, if this thing was more touchy, it would be too much...

I've heard that putting the manual/'more aggressive' version on an auto can throw the car into limp mode.

I have the Sprint Booster BDD-451 model, which I assume is the "manual/aggressive" version of the Sprint Booster based on past info. It did not put my car into limp mode. It put it into extra sensitive hard-core mode.
