Dyno'd my car + kinda raced my buddy's M3

Went to Charleston SC to hang out with my friends this weekend and dyno'd my car just for fun at my bud's shop. (www.gscmotorsports.com)

My car, stock C55 made 301 rwhp. Couln't get the accurate tq numbers but i think it was some where near 310s? ...

On my way to dyno, kinda raced my other friends M3.. He started first and pulled maybe a half car.. but then my car pulled him in strong and we both stopped when I was about half car ahead. I would've pull on him hard if we kept going.. M3 was stock and it was with SMG... He let me test drive his afterward and my god.. SMG is so much better than C55's tranny... I wish AMG built a better tranny for our cars..

Neway... It was a fun weekend for me..Got drunk Thursday - Sat and rode jet ski during day time.. lol

here are some pictures... Wanted to race my bud's R34 GTR but his car wasn't tuned..

Nice Skyline he's got there. RHD - that would be funky.

That's some pretty impressive torque! I'm sure that's RWTQ? What are the C55's advertised numbers?

God damn 366rwtq stock! Look out E55's. To bad those numbers aren't real. I'm guessing your actual rwtq is around 316. You got a solid C55 any plans on tuning it?

That Skyline is ridiculous, I was sooo close to pulling the trigger on an R34. Is your friend having any legality issues since the fall of MotoRex?

It is my car, and the problem was a defective NOS Electronic Drive by Wire Switch causing the NOS to only engage based on RPM only not RPM and WOT voltage. that has been replaced and have 5 track nights tuning it. just holding off on posting the time slips on NOS until after the Atlanta Meet.
lets just say its better than I hoped for.

EXCELLENT! Well I'm very happy for you! I was assuming the worst when you didn't post any results. Well done!

Speaking of NOS check out my sig

I find that if you go under a 75 shot its not worth it. Definitely stay with a wet shot as I've had no ECU or check engine problems. The only thing I admit to having is that about 2 weeks after I got it installed I noticed that the car will randomly feel weird at idle. If your city driving, like every 15 stops the RPMs will go up and down and the engine will actually shake the car and you'll hear it making a weird noise. As soon as you hit the gas it goes away, but I'm just a little worried. I also noticed that the shift from 1st to 2nd gear got even more jerky then it used to be ever since I've been using the NOS. I don't know if its worth it, I mean its definitely the best bang for your buck and it is pretty much problem free and very simple. Just there are risks to it and I don't know if I would ever work with NOS again, especially in a Mercedes. Though, I am a lunatic and who knows, I was tempted to go up to a 125 shot but I'm holding back for now. The other problem with NOS is that it is REALLY addicting. You dont want to let off and you run through the stuff so easy. Going conservative and holding back I was using 1 bottle a week. It gets annoying because you know you gotta save it up and you miss out on all the fun.

Good luck and let us know if you juice it!

After reading y'alls post, I'm having a second thoughts about nos... lol
Does anybody know where I can get blacked out front grill for our car?
I've seen someone selling painted one.. Is there a after market company who makes black grill?
