No I don't know why the A&A dyno starts at 3000rpm's instead 2000

But question to you Ubergeist (sp) what's w/single torque spike on your TA to 393rwto does that count as an actual 393 or is it a glitch? not trying to start more wars, just curious thanks

Hey Jerry, I'm up late drink to much coffe before the gym tonite, read a lot on this C32 forum you guys have some stout sleepers

Do you have a copy of this Dyno you mention above? 355rwhp / 355rwto is very powerful for a C32! The average for stock C32's stock rwhp was 276-285rwhp couldn't find any torque numbers for stock though

So you've made some very impressive gains especially in the torque dept..since they rate 334 torque or so at the crank when stock..

Sure...I'll have to upload it when I get home tonight. My scanner has been tripping, so all of my Dyno sheets have been turning out yellow lately.

This is the next to latest one that I have scanned in. This Dyno is before the Evo headers, Renntech Stage II ECU, and before any exhaust mods.

Here is the latest one I have scanned in. As you can see, I lost power after installing the headers, which made me send in the ECU and have it tuned for stage II. This graph only shows the headers with stage I ecu.

Like I said, I'll scan it in tonight for everyone to see. It might be a little yellow. The one that I will scan in tonight will show the Evo headers, Renntech Stage II ECU, and will be 355HP/355Trq.

I have yet another Dyno appt scheduled for Friday so we can see what the Random Tech Race cats and custom exhaust work has done in the power department. I might have to reschedule again, as my wife is still recovering from surgery and she can't drive herself to work. So, I will try to convince her to sit and wait while I get it done. After the next appt, I will install the Eisenmann and do one more Dyno to see where I sit as far as power goes. If the numbers look good, I'll call it a day and be done. If not, I'll send the ECU back to Renntech one more time for final tweaking.

Keep in mind that the Dynapak produces lower numbers when compared to a Dynojet. I will try to get a few pulls on a Dynojet once I'm done tweaking the car.

If you guys want REAL LIFE, REAL PEOPLE, REAL CAR and REAL MOD Results look no further than the event I attended with my C32.

Winged Warrior Performance Event

It was a multi race / performance event that pitted Domestic vs Imports

I was able to come in 30th out of 92 cars in a slightly modified 2002 C32

The car was represented and admired by what it was able to do performance wise in a field with cars that had lots of upgrades.

Click on the picture to bring of the card, then on the image that expands, (left hand side) you can click to see the back of the card, it shows the stats.

Notice there are several vette's representing at this event.

ALL EVENTS were done on STREET TIRES (all cars), no racing slicks, no autocross track tires were allowed.

This balanced the field a lot.

My autocross time was pretty good in perspective to a lot of other cars, the benz CAN hold its own with a good driver.

And what i mean by good driver, the C6 vette normally should beat a C32 in everything, but on this day he got my by the 1/4 but not in autocross, with nearly 50% more power/tq

But yet... with a champion autocross driver in a STOCK C5

is probably the best example of experience showing

Here's A Stock C32 spec's, you out weigh the C6 by 450lbs.. 50 less HP 70 less Torque Even moded to over come you power/weight deficiencys, and just to tie a C6 in a race you'd need to be pushing 385rwhp 385rwto.........

Now unless you care to re-post your Bogus "SMOKED A C6" Stories and say something like....The only reason I beat a C6 was due to C6 owner couldn't drive at all, C6 owner didn't know we were racing, Or it never really happened...
thanks for the info

but i was comparing the C5 to the C32, i think that everyone here is aware that with 2 equal drivers a C6 ( which comes with over 50 more HP STOCK) would obviously win a stock vs stock car race with a C32.

but if u get any modded C32's to race ur C6, post the video. I've always been a Vette enthuiast and i would love to see that race

Cool event and nice times man, just goes to show driver skill is needed in twisties, nice job pulling faster times epecially against modded C6, that C6 520 bhp, 470torque w/4.10 gears they pull like a ***** that C6 guy should be embarassed of his slalom time..
The guy in the base C5 did better than both of you..in the Slalom...

What's w/the 1/4 mile trap sped but NO ET? on other cars?

And you run a 13.03 at 111? what's going on there? for that high trap you should be a lot lower than 13.03

No hard feelings, That was a spike, I forgot the reason it did that, but actual peak torque was 342. That car had some serious ***** for what was done. I later put a TB, cutout, new filter, and complete tune up, and tuned it.

I would have guessed an easy 350whp. It was a strong runner. If I still had it that car would have been in the 12's on my next trip to the drag strip. But instead I ran a 14.0@99.8 in the 06 Mustang GT I traded it in on. Then that car got lost in a flood 600 miles later.

And bought the Acura to resell it, and bought another SRT to hold me over on my need for speed.

I was set on a C32, but after test driving an E55 today. My opinion changed.

Good luck with the races, and I am looking forward to seeing the vidz.

C32 and 98 C5 Vert
You guys crack me up. I have both a C32 filters (300 rwhp) and a C5 vert (400rwhp). A stock C32 will beat a stock C5 (a4) with either 3.15 or 2.73 rear gears. A C5 6 speed with a good driver will win almost every time after the 1/8th mark. Stock C5 (a4) run mid to low 13's at just over 100. Usually 103-105 same as C32 but the C32 stays in the powerband better with the 5 speed tranny.

I run mostly at the drag strip and run 8.5-8.6 on crappy 2.0 60' at 82 in the 1/8th which is about the same as a C5 6 speed.

I love both but I love spinning my 305 nittos at 45 mph when I hammer the vette a alittle more. 3800 stall and 3.73 gears make a C5 a total different car!

A C5 will dyno to the wheels around 310 - 330 depending.

What does a C32 put down to the wheels?

I can say that I have had friends run C32's on the road in LS1 powered F-Bodies (C5 equivalent). Races have went both ways both at the track and on the street, from rolls and stops.

I would choose the C6 anyday of the week with the LS2 motor and the new Z06's are hands down winners period.

My Z28 LS1 heads/cam etc. 390 rwhp 390 rwtq has yet to suffer a defeat to a C32 or 55. My car pulls strong up to 146 mph (the fastest I have went in it).

I would like to get a hold of a new C6 to see the result but I have yet to get an owner to play. Probably a good thing in the end.

Good post.

What heads/cam do you have on your C5? I have Total Engine Airflow heads on my Z.

After killing my orginal motor with some shaved stage 2 heads out of florida. I got a new LS6 block and lingenfelter stage 2 heads with a 228/232 .600 lift cam. Car runs consistant 11.5 at 118-120 with 1.8 sixty foots. Runs 7.4 at 95 in the 1/8th.

I have yet to be beat from 0-100 by any street car on the road or at the track. That includes the following:

996 Turbo S 6-0
Gallardo 2-0
Viper 9-0
Murchello 1-0
F360 4-0
F430 1-0
Yamaha 600 Sport Bikes 3-0
2006-2007 Z06 2-0

3.73 Gears and 3800 stall with 305 Drag radials - 0-60 mid to low 3 secs! I know all the above cars are faster but not near as quick!

On Mickey T's ET Streets, ran a best 11.23 at 120.07 with a 1.59 60'!
