C55 got T-Boned - Will I get screwed?
Hey guys,
My C55 got T-Boned and then got backed into a month later. Needless to say, I've had 8k in repairs done to the car.
This car is leased and I'll be turning it into MB in about 15 months. I wanted to know if anyone has experience with this? Is MB going to hose me with costs and fines because of the condition of the car? Any and all help is appreciated.
One side note: The bodywork for the repairs has all been TOP notch. Couldn't be happier.
Thanks.

You should be very happy you leased the C-55.
MB has a gap waiver included in their lease's and they DO NOT charge for diminished value!
If you owned the car you would probably lose 10-15% of its value from the accident.
Drive it, enjoy it and give it back!
Lease's can be wonderful things!

Don't know about Mercedes, but with BMW there is no problem at all. I'm sure Mercedes will be the same.
This is one of the advantages of leasing, it basically insulates you from the diminished value issue if you do a reasonable job of repairing the car.
I got rear-ended in my BMW on the way to returning the car to the dealership! They just took my insurance info and the insurance info of the driver who hit me and that was the last I heard of it. The car was drivable, so I drove it from the accident to the dealer and then drove away in my new M3 which was waiting for me. Can't beat that!

I really don't want to jinx myself by saying this *fingers crossed*, but where in the hell do you guys live and drive? There seem to be a LOT of posts of late regarding people's beautiful C32s and C55s getting hit!
