I really hope MB will come up with a more economy C class version power between the C350 and C63, say 50hp more than the E92 335i.
This time, I really just need a white body paint brand new AMG W204, 7G with same power as my C55 W203.

Ah your MB history leaves a little to be desired!
Way before the beloved by many C32, back in the 1960's an MB engineer decided to shoehorn a mechanically injected big block 6.3litre V8 from the massive 600 limousines into a relatively small 300SEL sedan, creating the monster 300SEL 6.3 which was coined the greatest (and arguably fastest) sedan in the world at the time. This beast offered muscle car beating performance for its time but with all the refinements of MB's top line fully loaded air-suspension riding LWB sedans.
Officially 0-62mph was about 6.5secs, but some factory test cars recorded some sub 6sec times, and mid 14sec quarter miles! in the late 1960's!
And so back to the reason why they call it 6.3 rather than 6.2, is for a hark back to the 'original' monster merc!

The MSRP base price of the '06 C55 was 55K. A fully loaded one was about 60-62K

Since the E63 engine is the same as the C63 engine then it should be capable of generating the full horsepower as the E63. Probably Renntech will be able to un-detune the engine rather easily so it makes the full 500 horsepower which would be great because the C63 will be much lighter then the E63, S63, and CL63 probably making it the quickest of the bunch. Just a thought!

i don't know about that, when they detuned the SRT-6, they put different cams in the car, so it makes less power...it might be the same way with the C63...it will be interesting to see

C63 upgrade will be a huge money for me (I am just sacked )
So Probably go for a 335i E93 hard top convertible for a change.
I read that it might be soft top E93 due to customers complained about the extra 400kg of the RHT.

The E93 cab is a pretty good choice IMHO. It's nice looking with all the bells and whistles that one needs. However, I don't want a cab in Hong Kong though, since I live on the Hong Kong Island side. I would be breathing a lot of soot driving top down.
