Pics of my new C32 & my M3
I picked up my 02 C32 from the Mercedes dealership in Brisbane yesterday, and me and my wife drove it 1200klms home to Canberra. The car was fantastic, the only problem I guess we had was the dreaded "jerk". It does not happen at lower gears( so we didn't find it on the test drive), well not that you would notice it as out of the ordinary.....but we found out on the way home that it does it when you are going up an hill at around 115km/h, and it falls back a gear with an abrupt jerk.
Does this mean the same thing as the low speed jerk ?
Also I want to go in and get the 03 update to the TCU.... can someone please give me the specific details of what to ask them to do, so they don't look at me like I am from talking gibberish ?
Below are a few pics of it with the M3......

C32
Thanks guys, the C32 is completely stock, so I am keen to get stuck into personalising it.
The C32 could not possibly be any different to the M3, the M3 is revvy, manual, and feels like it wants to play all the time...... I guess the suspension makes it feel that way being so nimble and precise. Whereas the C32 so far feels very cruisy/not as highly strung... but muscles its way along when it needs to with all the low end torque.... again, the standard suspension/wheels setup may add to the more relaxed feeling of the C32, so it may change when I start modding.
I really like the grill on the c55.... like the pic below ( I am also going to get these exact wheels )... is there anyhere I can get a grill similar to this for the C32, with only 3 horizontal lines total.

Regarding grilles for the C32... unfortunately the C55 grille doesn't fit on our cars. The closest thing would be the CL style grille. You can buy em at formymercedes.com.

2004 C32
Congrats on the car.
I did almost the same thing as you.....just in reverse Bought an 04 C32 in Melb, drove around Melb to see the Aus open, drove to Adelaide and waiting for the truck to drop it off in Brisbane this week. My first mod was debadge of the rear badges lol I think my next mod is the rear cats and resonator.
The car is so nice to drive interstate. Has plenty of juice for overtaking and aldready had the intercooler water pump replaced at 29k km. Interestingly I could not get it to go 0-100 any faster than 5.9sec on the drift box with eps off. I get a bit of wheel spin with the rear 245 continental tyres.
Does anyone know what I should check/fix to make the car go faster?
