Rust on my door????

Rust on my door????
So I wash my C32 this weekend and notice some paint bubbling on the passanger side of the door on the front bottom portion of the door (by the fender). It looks to be rust under the bubbled paint and didn't want to chip it away to find out. Car is and has been a California car from day one! Does anyone else have or know of any rust issues like this inherant in the C32 in this area of the door???

Let me know your email address - I can email you some MB docs that might apply. At the least, you can take them with you to the dealer.

if your car has a full mb service history and the door has not been repsprayed then the mobilo warranty will cover all costs to repair/replace.
I also noticed rust un the hinges of the front hood and when i questioned this with my dealer he took a few pics and a paint analyzer to measure the thickness of the paint just in case it had been re sprayed and was told ide get it fixed within the week.
To my amazement they replaced the whole hood and resprayed it.
So talk to your dealer and express your concerns about the rust.

KJB55 Thanks for the bulletin....MB has the car in the body shop taking care of the rust based on me providing the TSB. They told me it was out of warranty -- still has 6 months to go on the CPO warranty???? but they would take care of the issue......THANKS A BUNCH!

Just yesterday I noticed a couple of very small bubbling on my car's trunk as well. I guess I should take it in. It does look like rust bubbles to me. kjb55 I would appreciate any info you have that I can give to the dealer. My car is still under warranty. Thanks. I will PM you my email.
