I live in rural eastern Pennsylvania, and just paid $1.47.9 for 93 octane unleaded fuel. Since 1 liter is equal to approximately .264172 gallons, that would mean I paid about 39 cents for a liter of gasoline. I have been told that I am fortunate to live in an area with relatively low gasoline prices. 
Sunoco 94 octane is available for about $1.54.9 or about 40.5 cents per liter.
