Quaife diff. hard to install (instructions)?????
Best thing about Quaife is the LIFETIME warranty "even when raced" but like I said, you will void the warranty if non-quaife authorized installers touch the differential.
When I did the install at Evosport, I was quoted 11 hours.

There are a lot of little details in doing this job that is CRITICAL to the life of your pinion, ring and spider gears. That includes pinion and ring seating, backlash, pinion depth, new bearings and so on. So take the advise of the other post and pay someone that is PROFICIENT in doing rear end gears.
Good luck.

I already spoke to Quaife about this before I installed mine, and that's why I decided to get it installed by Evosport (an authorized installer). So, basically I paid a little extra but got the peace of mind that I have LIFETIME warranty on my differential (which is AWSOME by the way).
Also, please note that this is not my opinion, this is a fact. If there is any doubt, please call Quaife America to verify.
I am not against "Do It Yourself" installs or third party installs, but I'm just letting you know some facts to consider in your decision.
As others have stated, I haven't heard of too many Quaife break down, but the installation is fairly complex, and in the end it is up to you to decide.

I found it worth it to pay 300 dollars extra (or 200 depending on the area you're in) to get the differential installed by an authorized installer and KEEP the warranty with NO QUESTIONS ASKED than take a chance.
The ultimate decision is up to you, to be on the SAFE side, I say go with an authorized installer unless there aren't any in your area.
