447bhp? Nice! Do you have Kleemann cams as part of that K3 setup?

I know, I want a set of Kleeman cams, especially after the Schrick ones turned out not be intended for supercharged motors! We could sell our stock cams to the Crossfire dudes too so that they can finally say that they have a C32 engine.

Yep, it's the full option... When I'm getting home now in April, I'm getting the Kleemann pedal set instaled, and my new CF interior and CF front lip. Will try to get pic up when all is done, so that if there is any of you that want to se it.

How much boost does your engine see now with the stage 3? According to that article their engine has accepted 1.2 bar (approx 22#s). That is good to hear.

1.2bar is about 17.4psi, not 22.

"A programmable voltage clamp was fitted to the factory MAP sensor to allow the overall boost pressure to be raised from 0.9 bar to 1.2 bar"

As you can see they had to modify MAP sensor. Some guys here in Finland have also made some bleeders for MAP to allow more boost in their heavily tuned diesels.

Hey jturkel, the c32 comes with a cold intake from the factory. What kind of custom one are you planning on?

i'll draw up a picture. essentially, im taking out all of the stock intake piping. gonna order light weight aluminum piping. where the current inlets are for air, there are going to be two cone filters (one for each side). they will go up towards the splitter in the light weight piping. i think my friend and i measured it to be 2 or 2 1/2 into a 3 using couplers. also, we designed a splitter that is much less restrictive than the stock one that fits with respect to the firewall and the throttle body. if ur interested in what the designs look like, i can post them or send them to you. i have several different angles of the splitter. it was designed using some special program my buddy uses in his lab with NASA to test air flow and apparently it will flow very well. we just havent had time to make it yet, pretty cool though. and i do realize that the horsepower gain will be minimal if anything. it should help throttle response, espeically with less air restriction going up to and through the splitter. its also more for looks and perhaps the noise

What's the point? The SL55 splitter is plenty of an upgrade. The intake pipes are not a restriction. If you really want to do a full intake overhaul, the full SL55 intake system can be installed, and it won't look like a rigged honda

Well, if you look at one of the pictures in the article posted in this thread, you can see kind of the idea of the intake with the cone filters. However, I realize the intake pipes are not a restriction. The stock splitter is what is very restricted. If you take it off and take a look (which im sure you have judging by your mods), it has a wider diameter for air entry but it is then made very narrow so it can fit in with respect to the firewall. I dont recall the dimension change. the splitter we designed is much less restrictive and allows for greater air flow.
