Ebay headlights.

2002 C32

I've seen some discussions on this here, but I still have one basic question:

So if I buy these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-05...ayphotohosting

The expectation is that I gut my stock headlights for all the xenon and turn signal/high-beam (I don't think I have bi-xenon) and put them inside these?

Thanks!

sounds right. At the most, you will only need to swap over the bulbs from your current set. If you have OEM xenon, you will have to do some customizing. If not, just throw the bulbs in then plug and light them up

If you have OEM xenon/leveling, you should seriously just get OEM bixenons. They will be plug and play and you'll retain the leveling. I know it's more money, but you should seriously consider it. You'll lose the leveling with Depos.

OEM bix are about 1200$+ for a complete set meaning you will get everything. but no , they do not come in black housing. If you want the black look, you will have to get the depo set.

As far as fitting your OEM xenon into the depo heads. I haven't done this personally but I think you will need to mod the bulb adapters a bit. Also, you will need to remove the ballast from your oem housing and relocate them elsewhere. Do a search on the forum, I think someone has done this.

np man, it shouldnt be all that hard to mod around. just try it out if you dont mind spending the money on depo. i do like the black housing over the clear ones.. but I don't think aftermarket housing can par up to the OEM ones. keep that in mind

2002 C32 AMG silver & 2003 Lancer Evolution 8 black very moded
I Know If You Buy The Oem's You Can Bake The Headlamp And Pull Out The Chrome Housing And Paint Them Yourself. I Did This To My Evo 8 Have Never Had Any Issues. Its Fairly Simple And Cost About 30$ Just Kind Of Time Consuming But That Might Be I Was Acting Like A Rookie.

You Can Also Buy A Bulb Adapter That Will Work For Those Ebay Headlight Assembly H7 To D2r/s Or You Can Buy A Male Ballest Cable And Replace It To Fit H7 Hid Bulbs... But From My Knowledge(which Is Limited) All Hid Bulbs Are Really D2r/s And The Bulbs You Can Buy That Are Other Sizes Are Rebased... Knock Offs. ? But Im Not Sure On That. Im Thinking About Doing The Same Thing. To My 02' C32...
