you don't even need to take those off...

just unscrew the torx bolts holding the top of the air filter box on and it will lift up so that you can exchange the air filters...

Help

I tried to change the Air Filter as suggested without removing the hose clamps, but was unable to do it, the box will not lift up at all to reach the filter.

I again tried to open the hose clamp, but I have no idea how to. Also the screws that are on the boxes, what type are they ? I found out that one was missing and need to buiy them any idea?

you probably did not unscrew the bolts holding the air box lid on enough...

if you lift up and it will only lift up a very slight amount, then unscrew them some more...

Hi guys, sounds like it is a pretty quick job, how long would it take from start to finish? I heard that you actually need 2 for C32? Is that right? Apreciate your help
Cheers

JC, you did realize this post was 2 1/2 years ago?

But to answer your question, yes, you'll need two air filters for the C32. I suggest using K&N drop in filters for the C32 since they are much much better than the OEM ones.

Cheers

yes, it is a relatively quick job. shouldnt take you more than 10 minutes to unscrew the boxes, take out the old filters, replace them with new ones (or clean ones), and then screwing/closing the boxes again

if you look under the hood, you will notice that there are two intake hoses sucking in air and directing them two to boxes. each of those boxes (air boxes) contains one intake filter, so there are indeed 2 filters, one per side.
