Radiator leak - folow up and question...
I asked if they had any data on the contamination level (I know that above 400mg/L contamination, they should change trany and torque converter as well). The service dept tells me they do not know as they only compared colors.
Any advise on how I can make sure that MB is not trying to cut corners here?
The fact that they do not disclose a contamination level number makes me suspicious. Thanks

I'd also be asking for a written extension of the gearbox warranty from MB. If you still have problems (rust in box or damaged friction linings). then it will usually show up pretty quickly (1st week-3 months)
