Question Good deal on 06 C55?

Hi everyone, new to the board. Getting fairly close to pulling the trigger on a 2006 C55, black on black, no nav, 5600 miles, formerly a demo, never titled. Originally were asking $49600 and $25000 for my trade (06 325i). I got them down to $46000 and $26000 for my trade... does this sound about right? Or am I getting snowballs in the winter... any advice, comments or criticisms are welcome.

Thanks!

Joe

I got a 05 C55 with 10k miles and every option (plus tint, clear bra and a flat hood badge) for $38k even. I think you can do better...there was an 06 for low $42s with 18k miles when my wife was looking for mine...she went with low milage vs. year.

There is more to be had in that car... I'm not sure about your trade though as I have no idea what 325s go for.

For the original poster.. Its not a bad deal.. I got a similar offer about 6-8 months ago, so you can probably do a little better..

It's really impossible to evaluate the "deal" without knowing what your trade is really like. However, $46,000 is way too much for the C55, IMO. You should be able to walk away with the C55 for no more $40,000 cash, probably less.

Yea, thats what it seems like. I think i'm going to pass for the time being. The C55s are losing value a lot quicker than my car is so maybe in a years time an 06 can be had for 40k even, if not less, especially with the C63s coming out soon (hopefully)

No xenon? Ouch. It amazes me they manufacture these cars without it, but a nissan maxima has them standard.
