Blackstone lab report(trans)

Just got my report back from blackstone labs for my transmission fluid, no coolant was found on my 2002 38,000mi C32. Just wanted to tell everyone that it is cheaper then the dealer, but I will install a new radiator anyway just to be safe. No problems so far but everyone should do it!

Hi jimmyp,

I did exactly the same thing last week and also got a negative coolant result. I am also playing it safe and have ordered a new radiator to be installed at the next service, that way i wont ever have to worry about it again...

I'm a new member (had my car a whopping 3 weeks). So I assume the factory radiators tend to go? Mine has 60K miles. So if you did it with 30 - I feel like mine's a ticking time-bomb!!!

Yes I would do it! They also recommened the fluid be changed,so much for the 100,000 fluid. I will have mine flushed after I install the radiator.

not necessarily, my radiator has 108,000miles on it with no leaks...if you are paranoid about it, then change the radiator...if you maintain your car and check your fluids regularly, then this should never become a problem...
