AMG 030 Floating Front Rotor Question
Will the AMG 030 floating front rotors from a 2003 and up SLK55 or CLK55 fit on my C55 with the stock calipers? or, do I have to get the six piston front 030 AMG calipers to make this work?
I now want the front rotors to match the rear rotors (i.e. drilled and slotted) and I want the lower weight of the 030 front rotors but, I do not think that I particulary need the six piston front calipers.
Thanks,

AMG
So how long you have now before you get them installed?
I truly can't wait to see them on your car cause thats one of the first mods i will do, So there should be no problems clearing the Twin Spoke AMG wheel for sure right?

i will hopefully install them this weekend, if i dont have to go out of town. ya they will have no problems clearing the Twin spoke AMG wheels as long as they are 18" minimum.

Thanks, I will shop around for a set of "-30"? (stock slk55/clk55 2005/2006) floating rotors (part # 171 421 01 12).
And have them installed. Any leads on good places to buy?

Thanks for saving me from getting a missmatched rotor. Your brakes do look fantastic!!

some bad news, my car may be going back in the shop this weekend, so i wont get a chance to put the brakes in the car this weekend. the car's hood is getting re-painted and some other adjustments are being made. so i will install the brakes as soon as i get my car back again. sorry i know it really sucks i'm dying to put the brakes on the car.

Those brakes are sweet - I concur, can't wait to see 'em installed.
I'm due for a brake job w/ my C32 but price is likely going to keep me from upgrading to a BBK (unless anyone has a used set they're looking to get rid of!) - I've read positive reviews of EBC Redstuff pads, so I'm pretty much sold on those F&R, but I'm having trouble sorting out rotors. My question is, when looking on websites like brembo.com (part # 25766) or the rotors on performance products, are these OEM rotors cross-drilled like the stock rotors? If not, is there a good supplier to get the stock, cross-drilled front rotors from?
Thanks for the help!

they are OEM benz part off of the CLK63 or the SLK55 (black series with (030 package)) this is a big upgrade from the original C32 brakes. and yes it is an OEM dealer Item

My car is a c-coupe C30 CDI AMG.
Last week the brake upgrade came true.
Finally my sportcoupe has new big AMG brakes.
Thanks to everybody for the information obtained from this great forum, especially Rubensans, Harry Madan and Steve MBenzNL.
This model had the same brakes as a c32 at the from but only a 300mm not ventilated disc at rear (as a normaly c-coupe).
Now is time to enjoy!!!
Thanks a lot!!!
