Just got my BiXenons put in today. Thought I would post some pics up here for your viewing pleasure. I also put in my new clear mirror blinkers. Anybody know Mark Cummins or Steve from MBenzNL? I ordered the clear mirror pieces and the Euro bumper strips over a month ago. I got 2 driver side strips and no passenger side strips. I sent one of them back to Mark and I haven't gotten the correct one back from Steve yet. I know he is on a trip to Cali but I really would like to have my Euro strips in already. Has anybody on here talked to him lately? Please help...

Can you replace just the mirror lens or you have to replace the whole thing? And what about the fog lens? The whole assembly too?

Speaking of euro impact strips... Ive always heard of peeps just taping the bumper light to the inside of their bumper or something of the sort, but the light is always just on in there. Is there a way to disable the light by unplugging the fuses or something without making any of the errors come up when you start the car?

Thanks,

It is possible to jump a power resistor in there. I don't remember what wattage the stock bulb is, but if it is a 5W, use a 30ohm power resistor. If it is a 10W, use a 15ohm power resistor. Power resistors are those long cylindrical resistors that are usually gold in color.

I was going to use a power resistor, but it is so much easier to just use the bulb. I just taped over the bulb with heavy electrical tape to block the light, then left it dangling inside my bumper. It has been fine for about 10k miles so far.

The nice thing about the power resistor is that there is no bulb to replace. It wasn't worth it to me since swapping the bulb is a 5 minute job.

Your car is 2-3 years younger now!

I have clear fog lights and let me tell you that they stick out about 3-4 mm from the mesh grill. I'm not sure why. The frosted ones are snugged in tight in the bumper.

Looking great man.

I made the mistake of going under my car to install the fog lights, but after putting in headlights, I realize that it is so much easier to take off a wheel and to access the fog lights from inside the fender.
