Thumbs up BMC AIR Panel Filters for C32 AMG

Well, http://www.bmcairfilter.com/
I just order it, $ 150 the two filters and shipping from Italy.
This company is the Italian K&N, and we have seen this air filters in more than one other tuner as MKB, Kicherer, Nowack.

Code 281/01; 2 units.

http://www.bmcairfilter.com/VisDetail.asp?ID=94

Friends from Germany recommend me this company.

I hope it helps

Bye

We have done a fairly thorough testing of stock C32 air box. The restriction is not in air filters. Look at your car and locate a plastic Y-connector that brings both sides into throttle body, this is where restriction lies. This is why we are working on our HiFLow air box.

On a stock car it is only 3-5HP gain. We have not tested on ODPS car yet.

I'm totally agree with you Vadim, even It seems to me that Renntech is modifying this part too, look at the V8 Kompressor RT engine:

http://www.renntechmercedes.com/news...essor_lrg.html

Thus Vadim, I'm interested in this part because I want to combine High Flow air box with the BMC filter.

Bye

Pierre, quiet possibly we might go the same route. A lot of C32 owners want to keep their air boxes. I will know shortly.

Vadim,
have you ever thought to install the SL55 Kompressor plastic Y-connector that brings both sides into throttle body in our C32. The 55 Kompressor Y-connector has bigger diameter, due to the bigger demanded of air flow….. What do you think?
I have not got the BMC filters yet.

I just got the BMC filters; I like it, look like the K&N and nice quality.
Installation 10 minutes.
I just have 20 miles in the car, the reaction is incredible, and the C32 is really breathing now, the Kompressor kicks quickly for $150 definitely worth it.
As I said, in a week I'll dyno, the only thing is that I do not have a stock dyno, nevertheless we may use an average of a stock C32.

bye

Pierre32///AMG.

since its so easy to install the filters, why not do 3 dyno runs? one with stock filters, one with the BMC filters, and one with no filters?

I ordered my BMC filters a couple days ago... how long did it take for yours to arrive?

A K&N filter is like hooking the engine up to a sandblaster.
