My Cluster is weird... Take a look

Well 1FastC32 got in my car yesterday and was like "whoa... your gauges are different". I sat in his and said the same thing. We both have 02 c32's so its kinda weird. He also noticed that I have the new wipers... but i figured that maybe the old ones crapped out and they were warranty replaced.

Ok so everyone notices the engine light... thats where the check engine usually is. Also the bottom left is only displaying KM/h opposed to MPH... there is absolutely no way to change it w/o reprograming it. I also have a mode for winter tires... something about winter tire speed limit (not pictured). If anyone has insight about why mine is different from his, please let me know.

Thanks,
-Mike

Do you mean your cluster menus are different? The cluster itself looks just like my old 32 cluster

I mean that little engine light should be a light that says check engine ... as well as the menus being different.

Canadain cluster

If you read the manual that came with the car, Canadian models have the icon that you have instead of "Check Engine" and Km/h instead of MPH. So I am thinking somehow your car is set in Canadian mode.

Thats weird because my car was bought here in Houston. Whats weirder is that I am a Canadian citizen... the car was made for me, lol.

Any ideas on how the canadian cluster got in there or why?

I recently took my car in for some warrantly stuff and they replaced the cluster due to the fact that on hot days upper part of the display would fade out (a common problem). My new cluster looks exactly like yours. The old one looked like 1fast's. So you may have the newer cluster and maybe the same repair was done on yours.

Canadian cluster would show km instead of mph on the speed dial. What does your gear shift pic on the RH side of the MFD look like? On my old C the dealer did some work and I had similar issues til I showed him that he had the cluster set to ROW instead of US.

In ur setting you can change from Imperial to Metric. I know this as one time I changed my "MPG" to what everyone else in the world uses "L/100km". Just look youll find it. there is no such thing as "Canuck Cluster" I would know. I'm a Canucks Fan.

I Can get it to show values in KM.... like 45km range etc... but for some reason I cant get mph on the bottom left.

I know there are a few canadians on the forum here... possibly they have some insight

those settings are euro settings or canadian settings. I can change them back to normal for you.

Hey im from canada and i know exactly what your talking about. Whatever you have displayed on the bottom left hand corner you can change to either KPH/MPH or *C/*F - i personally have degrees *C on the bottom left and the time on the bottom right.
To change it is just a matter of scrolling through your steering wheel controls through the various menus. A manual will easily tell you where to go exactly.

that is exactly what we tried to do...it will not change, even if you put it on mph...
