hey guys,
i can get a clear 3M bra for my headlights and they also come in different colors. i thought i would get the sky blue color to match the all the glass in the AMG's. What do u guys thing or do u think i should just get a clear one?

ya agreed, i would cover the full front end with that, i may not cover the fog's because they have HID's in them and i dont what them to over heat if i put a thick plastic cover over them

i vote clear but i like cars that are more stock looking. when i see a car with that sky blue color on the lights I think "oh someone forgot to spec out the xenon lights when they bought their car." People here tend to do it to get the xenon look without the xenon price.
but its not horrible by any means and you do have xenons so no big deal.
Realize that the color in the film acts like a filter and cuts down on the color spectrum of your headlights. This also reduces the total light output a bit as well. Finally some eye specialists believe that yellow light is better for depth perception and this sky color coating will make the already blue'ish xenons even more blue.
When you upgrade to a higher kelvin xenon bulb you actually have a REDUCTION in light output and the best for visibility is always the 4300 oem kelvin light temperature. This sky blue will possibly have that same adverse effect. Not sure though.

I toyed with adding a yellow tint, but ultimately got the clear film. The covers do not cover the entire light, so the border of the cover will be visible around the outside frame of the light. A clear one is invisible, but a yellow cover (and to a lesser extent, blue) would be very identifiable as a stick-on film.

what isn't these days!!! i'm taking the front plates of my car, that is going to be illegal, and the HID's for the cars are also illegal because they do not self-level in the car. apparently all lights inside or out that have been changed are illegal but cops can't track everything down.
i have not increased the K's in the lights they are all at stock 4300K i even went out of my way to find fog's with 4300K's so i'm in the prim light range of 4300K to 5000K
i want this mostly for the parked look, i think the car looks really nice when its parked with these 3m covers on them i might just get a removable sick on and stick off sticker. so when i go to meets and a show and shine i can put them on the car. it will look really cool and then take them off as i drive off. and that way i can have them on all the lights. in the front

Either way would look good, IMO.
I did the lamin-x "clear" on my C55 and those were a ***** to get right, I've never tried the 3m is that similar? At @$50 a set, try both!
The yellow, definitely looks like the euro "dipped" headlights.
BTW, the film on the foglights started to burn onto the lens (maybe cause the lense was glass not plastic like the headlights, still came off ok)

Definitely clear. One of the C32s strongest strengths is its subtelty and you be losing that by adding blue film, which in my opinion is very ricer.
Your ride looks great in white, by the way. Very rare color for the C32.

i'm going for the whole sleeper look. i like the look on pplz face when they line up and i blow there doors of they look something like this
and then i laugh and tell them that they should know there cars, before they line up. its good times for sure.
i was thinking about the blue tint because all the glass on the AMG are slightly blue and i like that so i thought i can do that to the lights too, but was not sure if it would look good so i thought i should run it by some ppl on the form, so it seams like i will be sticking with the clear bra for the lights. i just want them on the head lights nothing else, i do a lot of highway driving and rock chips on the lights cant be fixed easily, the hood can be painted and the windshield can be replaced but the headlights are $$$.
