335 Procede v2 (near 100 RWHP) over stock

This engine keeps pupping out more power with very little hardware changes.

Still using stock downpipes, IC and engine components

Only secondary cats and resonator delete and tuning.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65548

I never thought I would say this, but pretty soon it will be right there with a stock E55 with very few mods.

this V2 just sealed the fait of my E55.

My C32 will be traded for a new 08-Highlander and my E55 will be down graded to a 335 coupe with v2 Procede.

C32 AMG - in Pewter
This is all good news, to everyone... MB will have to respond by properly tuning or pricing the C63 in order to stay in the game. One would think that one of the main reasons for MB to delay the C63 is to see how competition will unfold so that they can properly tune/position the C63. Really looking forward to seeing how thing go.

There definitely is Nav in the 335...its nice too. Top of the center dash, and as I recall, it has real time traffic updates.

Im tempted as well....

for 50k bmws interior lack hard.... i went and test drove one this past weekend and although it was nice and had good power the thign jus tfelt cheap. th windows rattled in the doors when they closed, the seats were really hard, and the leather not preforated. then the radio, this model did not have the nav but did have the upgrade sound system and that radio is god awful looks and overall function. it looked liek the same one my mom had in her 98' 325i. For 55k ill save my money and drop it on an m45

I just leased a 335i.. It has Nav.. They call it idrive.. combo Nav, entertainment, phone (bluetooth), ipod, etc..

I think the interior is pretty nice. The seats are pretty comfy and sporty. I think the interior trim is nicer than MB. I test drove a new CLK550 and just think the interior trim/layout is cheap looking.

I am planning on ordering a Procede or Xede. They seem to be rated about the same, with the Xede just coming out last week from Active Autowerke.. As soon as I get my wheels I ordered this will be my next mod.

I already dropped it on H&R sport springs, swaped the tail lights for black lines, OEM rear spoiler, tinted the windows.. have put about 600 miles on it in the past month. Was waiting until the break in was over (1200 miles) before adding more power.

I cant wait for the M1 to show up :P

For those considering a 335i, there are two things to stay away from at all costs: iDrive and Active Steering. Consult C&D for detailed explanation and corroborating opinion, but suffice to say I have experienced both and they suck badly. You don't buy a Bimmer for its nav system anyway - it's a DRIVER'S car.

i wonder how long that turbo will last.... sure it can make 400rwhp once or twice.. question is, will it be reliable??? Remember that the car is using a tiny tiny tiny turbo.. just about size of your fist..

By modding it, i'm sure it will void ur warrenty and what if something goes wrong?

I wonder how much it will be to replace turbo / engine on a new bmw?? (10k?)

I would wait another year and see..

No LSD.. quaife is coming out with one though..

Yes, adding a piggyback will void your warranty if they find out. I don't think they would find out unless you left it installed though.. Supposedly its not detectable once removed.

I like the idrive! LOL.. I hear there have been many problems with it crashing though LOL.. I haven't had any problems yet. knocking on wood.

Right on, I thought the C32 stage 2 at ~420hp from a 3.2L is pushing it a bit.

Also, MB decided to supercharge an engine with a proven track record. I am not sure if that is true for the 335.

I agree about the interior.

but this is a driver's car.

I would not get active steering or the navi. just sports package, 6 auto with paddles. I'll be around $46k deep. Add another $4k in mods and its pretty much everything you will need. Keep in mind the 335i is almost 1 year into the model year. CPO vehicles will start hitting the dealers as well.

I don't have an LSD on my 2 AMG and I do autocross or vist a road course. So LSD is not in the equation for me.

If you lease its about 499 to 599 a month. Much lower than my payment on my E55.

btw: $55k you must be talking about a 535i which is awsome price for that car. compare that to E350 or GS350.

AMG really needs to make a good case for with the C63 to go back.

what's wrong with that? the B5 S4 stage 3 are pushing 460awhp on a ironblock 2.7 liter.

as long as you get the formula down it'll make some serious power and being reliable.

if only the C32 wasn't limited by the supercharger clutch and being mechanical, we be seeing more horsepower already.

The car has a lot of potential. Went to buy the Quaife LSD and learned it doesn't fit production runs after March of '07 as they are tac welded making the removal of the ring and pinion gear difficult. They are working on a fix according to them. Double adjustable coilovers and camber plates making 3.5 degrees negative transform the car, as do trashing the run flats and sticking on some PS2's. Love the car and it handles great. Have to say though that stock to stock, the C32 feels faster. But only until the Vishnu chip goes in It is hard to find a better car for under $45,000. With mods, the 335 will give the new M3 a run for its money. Miss you guys.

Make sure your fuel pump doesn't die on you. They are dying at an alarming rate and is on nationwide backorder 6-8 weeks.

Impressive tuning numbers, yes. I've read (on the E90 forums) several owners of Vishnu-tuned (1.45 version) cars having issues with the car going into limp-home mode. Not sure if the V2 release has sorted that out.

My coworker just solved that particular problem: he bought the just-released 335xi

I haven't been able to convince him to Vishnu the thing though - he's too conservative even though he has the $$ (he paid cash for the car!).

The 335xi, is that going to be in coupe form? If so, then

I also heard about those tuned 335 with problems; however, I've heard that it was some kind of faulty coolers and the dealer will fix them for you. The newer 335's have that problem solved.

I think my brother is getting a 335 some time in the winter/spring. He plans on modding it with ECU and exhaust. We want to see how it compares to the new M3 stock, but of course my car won't stay stock for long lol...
