I never thought I would say this, but pretty soon it will be right there with a stock E55 with very few mods.
this V2 just sealed the fait of my E55.
My C32 will be traded for a new 08-Highlander and my E55 will be down graded to a 335 coupe with v2 Procede.

I think the interior is pretty nice. The seats are pretty comfy and sporty. I think the interior trim is nicer than MB. I test drove a new CLK550 and just think the interior trim/layout is cheap looking.
I am planning on ordering a Procede or Xede. They seem to be rated about the same, with the Xede just coming out last week from Active Autowerke.. As soon as I get my wheels I ordered this will be my next mod.

I already dropped it on H&R sport springs, swaped the tail lights for black lines, OEM rear spoiler, tinted the windows.. have put about 600 miles on it in the past month. Was waiting until the break in was over (1200 miles) before adding more power.

Have you seen the turbos? Freaking small....i wonder if i can replace it with bigger turbos..
By modding it, i'm sure it will void ur warrenty and what if something goes wrong?
I wonder how much it will be to replace turbo / engine on a new bmw?? (10k?)
I would wait another year and see..
Yes, adding a piggyback will void your warranty if they find out. I don't think they would find out unless you left it installed though.. Supposedly its not detectable once removed.
I like the idrive! LOL.. I hear there have been many problems with it crashing though LOL.. I haven't had any problems yet. knocking on wood.
Also, MB decided to supercharge an engine with a proven track record. I am not sure if that is true for the 335.
but this is a driver's car.
I would not get active steering or the navi. just sports package, 6 auto with paddles. I'll be around $46k deep. Add another $4k in mods and its pretty much everything you will need. Keep in mind the 335i is almost 1 year into the model year. CPO vehicles will start hitting the dealers as well.
I don't have an LSD on my 2 AMG and I do autocross or vist a road course. So LSD is not in the equation for me.
If you lease its about 499 to 599 a month. Much lower than my payment on my E55.
btw: $55k you must be talking about a 535i which is awsome price for that car. compare that to E350 or GS350.
AMG really needs to make a good case for with the C63 to go back.
as long as you get the formula down it'll make some serious power and being reliable.
if only the C32 wasn't limited by the supercharger clutch and being mechanical, we be seeing more horsepower already.
It is hard to find a better car for under $45,000. With mods, the 335 will give the new M3 a run for its money. Miss you guys.

My coworker just solved that particular problem: he bought the just-released 335xi
I haven't been able to convince him to Vishnu the thing though - he's too conservative even though he has the $$ (he paid cash for the car!).
I also heard about those tuned 335 with problems; however, I've heard that it was some kind of faulty coolers and the dealer will fix them for you. The newer 335's have that problem solved.
I think my brother is getting a 335 some time in the winter/spring. He plans on modding it with ECU and exhaust. We want to see how it compares to the new M3 stock, but of course my car won't stay stock for long lol...
