First Major Problem with my C32
there are a couple of pretty cool things that i found out, but i will fill you guys in later, as i am trying to get packed to go out of town for the weekend...
Right now I have the seat module problem, which I have been too lazy to search for the part number or how to fix
I also have a Airbag message on my dashboard.. SRS
and bunch of "brake light, license plate" messages..
they all should relate to fuses but I have been too lazy to trouble shoot them. The car has been running solid for 3 months now.

We will all be looking forward to a "IFASTC32's cheap A/C compressor replacement" thread!

How about a group of us, each pay like $200 each, to buy a salvage car. Then we can share the parts from the carcass as needed.

It was about 73 here today. Nevertheless, the Mrs. engages A/C continuously for its dehumidifying effect. Damn thing runs all the time.
We certainly understand if your header project is on hold for foreseeable future.Kindly let us know how you get your repair squared away.
the bad news is that not only did my A/C go out, but we discovered when we were tearing my car apart that my radiator had just started leaking into the tranny...GLYCOL CONTAMINATION!
when it rains, it pours...so, i took a trip over to the mercedes dealer today and picked up a new radiator, tranny filter and some fresh fluid and we flushed the tranny...
the fluid that came out of the tranny looked fine and did not look contaminated at all, so i am crossing my fingers that everything is fine...
just a note, i keep constant tabs on my car and last week before i went out of town there was no contamination in the radiator reservoir like there was today...so the contamination was very minimal, if any at all in the tranny itself...
Sunman and another mercedes tech both said that the tranny should be fine so i am going to hope that they are right...the last thing i need right now is for my tranny to go out too...
400 miles on the tranny since the flush and i have put the pedal down half a dozen times in the last 50 miles just to see how the tranny will react...everything seems to fine so far...this is good news and hopefully this trend will continue
i will update again at 1,000miles as well, just to keep you posted on a 110,000mile drivetrain...
