A matter of Right and Wrong,... Good and Evil

I have a question. Is it wrong to go out about town and roadways hunting and seeking 350Z-GT's? I mean,... is it un-ethical in some way or mean-spirited to do so? Would one be viewed by the world as "Bush-ist",... if it were exposed that launching such a hunting expedition was just one's way of quenching a thirst for aggression, conquer and arrogance? Is vulture hovering in places where 350Z-GT's are known to frequent something to be ashamed of?

I just wanna know,... I value all C32 etiquette I have learned in the short time since joining this community, and I value equally any etiquette I still may not be aware of.

Thank you!

Assuming he isn't drunk...and has a serious moral delima here...

I say let them be, and only teach them a lesson if need be.

I'm glad to see you are enjoying the car. You took me seriously when I suggested it, huh?

Anyways, think of C32 etiquette like a martial art. Force should be used only when nessesary. If attacked, attack back, but you should not be a bully with the great power you have.

Now go forth and spread the word, Grasshopper.

The first few weeks after I got my C55, I used to go out at lunch trolling for anything that would bite.

Yeah man,... relax a bit. You gotta understand, this was my first time accepting a nod and a look thrown at me from another driver while sitting at a red light. Gimme a little room to have some fun with this thing.

Oh sure,... since having the C32 I've opened up the throttle from time to time, and quite hard once or twice. But they were solo events. This time I wasn't alone. I bit the bait someone threw at me. It's been so long, I had almost forgotten the rush,... so long, the rush is almost new to me.

And yeah,... I know the C32 is no longer the fastest MB on the street and that other offerings may even be faster. But make no mistake,... this car is still brutal. Ask the kid driving the 350Z-GT. And yeah I know the 350Z-GT is slow,... well I know now!

Maybe I would have your respect if that 350Z-GT were an M3. You think?

Whatever the case, I'm enjoying my toy, and my time with this community!

Oh speaking of etiquette,... the last time I remember being flashed by oncoming traffic and not as a warning, was many yeas ago. I owned a Harley Davidson. I'm being flashed again,... especially in the burbs of DC! Is that etiquette? Not sure!

I wasn't being uptight. That's the problem with internet, you can't see people's expressions.

I don't know my 350's, but how's a 350Z-GT different than a 350Z?

Don't know,... that's what the guy said it was while baiting me. Just left Nissan's site and it appears to be cosmetic stuff and added appointments, but nothing to do with output and/or handling. The site says they come in four flavors,... standard, enthusiats, touring & grand touring! All employing the same engine and engine configuration. Pretty wheels and buzzers going off when you put it in reverse, and such other type stuff seem to be the only things the differ between flavors.

I always thought that was a fast car,... it looks fast! But as all C32 owners know by now,... fast cars don't always look fast.

Well this guy didn't give up easily. He wizzed by me like bullet ran amuck,... after I dropped out of warp and back down to impulse that is. We started from a dead stop and I lost periphial of him soon after feeling the resistance of the floorboard on the bottom of my foot.

Strangely,... after the launch, it seemed like 1st gear was all about un-productive noise. I remember asking myself, "when is this thing going to change gears"? Finally, a chirp announcing 2nd gear,... this is a chirp I had never heard before. When this happened, the sensation of acceleration was dominant and speed was a close second. When 3rd arrived, things had begun to flipped,... now speed was dominant and getting real stupid real fast. However, torque and pull was still in the building. I was amazed at the how much pull was left. I'm not even sure 4th showed up. I think I backed off before that could happen. A short while later, the 350Z swooshed by,... like he was making a statement. By then, all that was to be said, had been said!

I am unsure where this negative quotes are coming from regards the c32, let me clarify!

Anyone who says the c32 isnt fast, by todays standards, are talking complete and utter rubbish.

These cars have ran independant test runs of 0-60 dashes in 4.5 seconds, on a bad day will be 5.2 seconds, let me tell you, that is very fast even by todays standards.

If u purcahsed a £51k porsche boxster S. You wont be passing a C32, as like many new £50k cars on the market today.

I have owned my C32 for just under 2 yrs, i have raced them all, apart from a tuned M evo, nothing has taken me !!

911, a ferrari 360 even didnt get that far, partly the reason the C32 is so fast, is due to the auto box, where as most car's. even M3, you have to crapple with a manual, and that does effect 0-60's, unless your used to those driving conditions, which frankly only a handful of road drivers are.

There isnt anything that will leave a C32 on the road today, dont get me wrong the C32 wont take the M3, M5 M6 etc, but they wont leave it either!!

The C32 is still stupidly fast and capable, coupled with its traction control etc!

Thats why I still have mine !!

So i am unsure who the hell thinks this car isnt quick today, 5.0 sec 0-60 is benchmark !!

If you think its slow, what the hell are you driving !??!?!

Finally,... a post re-enforcing my buying decision. I only acknowledged that there are faster cars coming off the showroom floor since the C32 morphed into the C55 and soon to be released C63. In other regions of this internet, I'm reading stories of late model Corvettes being eaten by C32's, although that seems more amazing than my 350Z experience! But not unbelievable!

Thanks for your post
