"Check Engine"
Hi guys. I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. Today my "Check Engine" light came on. OBDII scanner gives me an error code of P0410 - Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction. Has anyone experienced this or know what this means and what's involved to fix it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The part costs $300 from an MB parts store and the labor is another $300-$400 . It's an easy DIY job! I found a new one on eBay for $150 and changed it on my own, took me 15 minutes.
It doesn't affect how the engine runs as this is an emission pump only, it’s purpose it to help reduce emission on cold engine startups.

Start with the relay first it is only $20 or so. This was covered under the recall so if your car has not had this done yet you might want to let the dealer do it.

Thank you very much for the quick replies guys! I'm still under warranty so I'll go ahead and bring it into the dealership on Monday along with this thread. Hopefully this will leave no guess work for the techs to diagnose the problem. Thanks once again! This site is awesome!

Hi guys. Just wanted to give an update. Got a call from the dealer today and the car is ready after one day. They replaced the air pump and relay - all covered under warranty. Thanks again for the input on this topic.
