A low mileage, well maintained example should go for a premium. The right cars attract the true enthusiasts, and they always value the car over a few more thousand dollars. Leave the bottom feeder cars and their prices for the bottom feeder buyers.

I can only hope that the C32's and C55's become collectors items someday.
Just friendly advice if you want it sold. These cars have plumeted in value. Absolutely awesome cars though. Good luck on the sale.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Good luck getting it at that price again, though. I only got a tick under $40K and I sold it more than a month ago. A member here (Most-Wanted) didn't even get as good as I did for his lower mileage, as loaded '06 (not '05).
It's just sad that a car this good depreciates like that.... but looking at C63 raves, I'd suggest you sell it before C63 comes out.
Good luck!

It would be different if we're selling M3's.... especially in CA.
But I agree to some extent to your points, though.... even though taking good pictures of the car w/ good background is certainly more appealing. Not because the prospective buyers have "class".... but because good and detailed pictures do always help the sale.

There are certain cars that hold their value better but unfortunately our cars don't
....what you see advertised is messing with the good and well treated cars also.....when you buy it new they lose alot also after a while
. Back in 2002 I would never consider buying a AMG but a few years later depending on model they are within a comfortable range. I seen guys pickup a 2004 C32 for less then 30,000.00 out the door with extended waranty.....sad but true!
There are forum members that have their cars maxed out with mods but really those mods might just help to keep the car price within 2k better but its like 5-10k spent on mods
. I didn't know alot of the C32 and with what I read here I knew the prices people are selling them at and I knew I needed warranty.....some guys here sold premium treated C32/55 and still loose in those deals....so JGSX is right.
overall, i think the key is to just enjoy whatever you're driving.
have a great wknd all

At least until I mod my 535xi
