COOL I never knew there was a intake resonator lol Now I wanna cut mine out!

Frank, thanks for letting me know those kevlar tubes won't fit my intake. From the pics I can see what you mean by ziptie and insulation cloth

I don't have the pictures, but if you remove the airbox from the car.The front section you can tell it is clipped together with top and bottom. Carefully remove them and not break the side tabs and you'll see the inside has a honey comb like tube in there. take a hand saw and cut the middle section off and put the front and rear ring back and clip it back together and viola.

look at the above post by rlee and you can see what i mean by the inner honeycomb like tube.

Just a suggestion but there seems to be quite a lot of interest in this - could I ask someone to document this with photos.

I and maybe others have little experience with this sort of work but like to learn and also to mod.

Would defo help I think...

Tried took it off last night, not much difference for me. The exhaust (no resonator) sounded too loud for me to hear the difference.
