C55 wins 335i in straight?
Finally got a chance to blast with a friend's 335i E92. Pity we did not find the good opportunity to do a sideby side run. My friend said, the C55 acceleration is overall much quicker? Not sure anyone has some live experience to share?

I have driven the 335i and it is very fast. I can only compare it to my C32 however. My C32 seemed to be just a bit quicker. I'm sure with the C55 there is even more of a difference (I would hope!)....

Sad that the bmw 4 years later is pretty close to being as fast as the c32 and c55 and over 10k cheaper.

So with ASP pulleys the 335i kepted up no problem? Stock I believe it but with pullies its hard to believe...

stock for stock the C55 should be quicker. keep in mind the 335 "real" hp is more like 320 stock with a chip they'll blast a lot of cars to hell. I honestly think stock for stock the 335 has a similar pull to 80mph to a stock C32.

I'll chime in.. Picked up a 335i e90 in May, just sold my c32 but had both cars for about 3 months. I have also driven a few C55's. The c55 should be faster stock vs. stock, C32 also..
However, once chipped it is a whole different story.. I have the Xede on my 335 and it is amazing how much different/faster the car performs.. and only about $1000. It is definitely seems faster than a stock c55/c32 now, although I didn't get a chance to take them head to head..
If anyone in San Diego wants to mess around for fun and see let me know.

for some reason or another.. the trap speed on most of the XEDE or PROcede tunned 335's are just around what a C55 traps. We know that C55's trap higher than a C32.
C55's are around 108+
C32's are around 104 to 106
335's stock are 104 to 106
335's tuned are running 108 to 109 and some of course have run slower depending on the track.
Add some DP's and exhaust and I see no problem hitting 110+, but limited due to traction.
With the V2 Procede I can see hitting 112+ no problems.. but again limited to traction.
