To badge or not to badge.......

I pulled off my V6 Kompressor side badging. My dad was of the opinion I should have keep them on because it uniquely identified the car as a C32 whereas I like the stealth approach and not advertise.

Who else has pulled off the badging and what are your personal opinion on this?

I was thinking of adding V8 Kompressor to the sides like the C350 guy and his AMG 55 badging!

See here's the thing, it's your car! If you like the stealth look, keep them off. Don't let your dad or other people change your mind.

De-badged. Cleaner, no advertising, just a personal opinion not to flaunt it.

Badging seems to be quite rare on MB / BMW / Audi in the EU, although the sport models (AMG, M, S) seem to be half and half.

pulled it off when i first bought the car. put it back on after a year. without the badge I felt like the fender's missing something. I'm sure you all know I pulled off the "C32 AMG" badge for the Carlsson badge on the trunk.

it is YOUR car. decide for yourself bro.

My side badges were gone when I bought the car. Thought about putting them back on, but there's something odd about "bragging" that you have a V6 engine.

I keep the badges on back so that people know it's not a 2006 C240.

'07 TB SS daily....96 Camaro SS 500hp for fun
Like most people said, it's your car and do with it what you want. I changed the SS badges on my camaro to '68 chrome/white badges...so it really up to you

As was said so well, this depends on personal choice solely. For stealth purposes, however, and to discourage kids from trying to race with me, I debaged my C55 completely, resulting in a rather mean looking regular C-class and some very suprised kids.

Mine was debadged on the sides with C55 on the rear (I have a C32). Not sure if the previous owner was trying for the 55 look minus the quad exhaust or what.
I personally like the look of the badge on the side/front fenders but agree it's rather odd to brag about a V6. I just like it because it's different than all the other standard Mercs around. As for the C55, I pulled that and put a Kleemann badge in its place and left the AMG on the other side to balance it out. I did the silent approach on previous toys, but I like this one to stand out from the crowd. Just my approach on this particular car. To each his own though!

agree with other ur car u should pick what u look ur going for.

i personally like the stealth look my car is badge less and i like it that way, when ppl see me they think its the same old regular C-class benz, when i take off the line and then see them at the next light its just amazing to see the look on there faces.
