HELP...my left bulb went out. PLZ
HELP GUYS!!! PLZ
My Bi-X left side the low beam went out...i tried the bulbs on the right side and it lit up. So im kinda stuck here and dont know where to start...i think it might be the ballast. But im not sure...can someone help me out??
if so..where can i get the parts?

Does anyone know where i can get the ballast and igniter for the bi-xenon's ??
im having a real hard time finding them online.....i tried ebay and they only have BMW OEM one which look really similar to our ballast not sure if they are the same can someone PLEASE help me out?
It really sucks to be driving with only one bi-xenon...my car looks like a pirate with one eye.... HELP!!!!

I had a problem like this. you are looking for a part that is next to impossible to find as some benz light parts dont even have part numbers. call a local benz body shop and see if they have a smacked up one you can rob some parts from worked wonders for me and saved me tons of loot. I know these cars have clips that are needed to ground the bulb or something that dosent a have part numbe.r my car now has a bulb ground clip form a clk that was smacked up and it fixed the problem

and alchang32, when you say you got "a new ballast", did you get a brand new ballast, or a used one? Just asking since I'm afraid to buy a used one and it failing within a short period of time...I've seen them around $100 used on ebay.

Was your bulb working intermittently prior to it going out or was it lights out from the get go? I am experiencing intermittent lapses with my left low bead and wondering if its the xenon bulb going bad or the xenon control unit.

my pass. side bulb does thats ever now and again... i think its my igniter... but usually i just turn the car off... pull the key out wait 10sec or so and start back up and its works fine. I just keep my lights to off... and manually switch them on... if i have it on auto is when i have the issue.

This is where I'm at. Intermittently at start up I get the "Check L Low Beam" malfunction. Turn the car off then back on and its good to go??

Older thread... but i finally think my ballast went out... getting a replacement on Ebay... I'll post up how it goes.
