Pass mirror drives me crazy

It is little thing but really drives me crazy

Pass side mirror tilts down just like it should, but does not return to previous seting. Just stops half way.
It does not matter how many times I program this damn thing, it just refuses to cooparate.
Q? Would disconnecting battery help?

Any input will be welcomed.

regadrs

If you are referring to the reverse mode on the right side mirror, I would just disable it. I did that because it bugged me too and I figured it was just one more item to break.

You can turn it off via the COMAND in-dash menu.

I did, Didn't help. still drops down after I put in reverse couple of times, but when disabled goes only half way.

It really starts to bug me now.

CL500 and ML55
Not sure about the C class...but both my ML and CL work the same-If you leave the "selector" switch on the driver mirror instead of passenger mirror it does not tilt. The selector switch has to be on passenger mirror for the feature to work.
You may want to give that a try.

Fixed !!!!!!!!

Got problem resolved
As usually was looking to deep into it.
Accidently discovered the reason for mulfunction- walking by i bumped the mirror quite hard and..... little piece of tree branch fell to the ground, seems like it got jammed in the mechanism making it go crazy.

I guess old method worked:
Kick it . kick it some more, than ask questions.

Thanks for all replies, everything is working perfectly now.

Regards
Jack

That doesn't explain your passenger mirror moving with the selector switched to driver side. Better check your switch as well.
