Tires - Need Help!
I was looking at my driver side front wheel today because I went over a pot hole today. Luckily, no damage was done to the rim, however, I found these long streaks on the tire. I didn't realize these streaks before, from looking at it I doubt they were fresh scars. The tire looked like it was being scratched while it rotated. These scars are deep, at the worse point, the tread is completely shaved off. I am thinking these damages were caused by the bumper clip. Think so??
Now what should I do?? Will there be chances that this tire will torn apart when I am driving?? Any one had this problem before?? Should I get the shop to rotate the tire??(Will that help??) Please help~

Also, I am planning to put my stock AMG rims back on the car, for the first time ever since I have lowered it. I wonder how it will look. Do I need to put spacers? Both front and rear? n What sizes should it be?

dont know about the rims. but the tires are fine. i got ran into the side of a mountain and i chipped off a lot of the sidewall.
also, my friend's tire was so bald that you could see the inside mesh holding the tire together. and he still drove on it and it was fine.

Just beacause you can drive on it doesn't mean it's "fine". Personally if I had damage like that I'd get them replaced. I wouldn't trust a tire with a potential blowout looming.

The pictures shown above could be, 1 your ride is too low, cost of the cruving thr tires. 2 shocks coilovers on too soft of the setting, when you go over pot holes or deep drivers costing shocks to flex upwards & cost the lost of tread on tire. 3 both of the combo cost this.

are you referring to my tires or to my friends tires?
if my friends tires, then yes i completely agree i meant its "drivable to an extent"
but mine were good i raced it up a mountain 2 hours up and 2 hours down nothing out of the ordinary.
