I am not saying the test is invalid. Although, you did remove/reinstall your SC last night, so I don't put it past you that you could swap headers I know they are a total pain in the butt. Big forearms + tight space = pain.

I think the headers look great. I completely support this project. But when it comes to headers, most of us know, power under the curve is what is important. Peak horsepower looks good on a product page, but is not very useful in the real world. It sounds like the car is more fun to drive from what you have said, so I expect to see a nice bump across the whole curve.

By the way, do you have any laptop software? Do you do any road dynoing?

what headers would i have swapped? i am not following you...

thanks for the props on the headers, the area under the curve has definitely improved...that is what i am more excited about than anything...the torque curve is pretty flat...

i do have laptop software for datalogging and it has a dyno feature on there, but i have not tried yet...

The stock headers. Glad to hear about the flat torque curve, thats what we want

On the software note, I love road dynoing. I found Autoenginuity to be within +/-5 hp/tq of an actual dyno.

I dyno in third. I think 4th would get a bit scary Here is a screen shot from the setup. You can either have the software calculate the final gear ratio it needs to make an accurate reading (by driving same speed for 30 seconds), or you can enter the rear end gear and working gear. I actually found that letting the software measure it is more accurate.

If you have a digital camera you can get results almost as good as a scanner.

Erick - Thank you for the excellent customer service and VIP treatment.

The LET owner picked my car up at noon, left his car in case I needed it and by 6 pm I had it back... Later on, he followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was running smooth.

I had a customer service speech this morning to all my people here at the office.

Keep it up. Looking forward to do business again.

Hey Erick,

Are there any plans to produce some for the R170 chassis?

wow.. the C32 mods are bring the C32 back to 335i levels at an economic price...

with tha power.. and some DR's.. trap 110 to 112 on a good track.

if somehow .. we can put down 370RWHP/360RWTQ.. .it would give the 335's are real run for its money.

Tuned N54's... I'm not talking stock of course.
