since the exhaust outlet on the head and collector diamter are unchanged how are you guys making the header better? don't think an abrupt change in diameter at mating points is good so? does the header piping flare out then reduce back for collector?
am i asking too many questions?

this along with the bigger piping and the better routing of the pipes all help to provide the gains...
yes, you are asking too many questions... j/k

Had my LET headers installed by Vadim and his consummate technicians at VRP. Unfortunately, business obligations precluded quality garage time and a DIY. Labor was ~four hours. I could not be more pleased with their fitment and performance.
They have readily exceeded my otherwise modest expectations. The engine is almost stock, with only a sharp tune, a pulley and an upgraded heat exchanger. With the headers, bottom end torque is improved, e.g., ESP is promptly overwhelmed. When it’s in its sweet spot, 4000 through 6200 RPM, they feel like an honest ten to fifteen additional horsepower. Easily pulled on a E46 M3 during the test drive back home (off-highway) for good measure. He was a good sport about it, and gestured with an extended thumb. Merely reinforcing our Affalterbach heritage.
They are well worth their relatively modest investment. Highly recommended.
