IPOD Hook Up In 2003 C32
I tried searching for a link to show me how to install an IPOD unit in the C32 and did not come up with anything. I must be missing something. I put in IPOD hook up for C32.
I do not have Nav.

The jack should be on the right side wall, towards the top and front of the glove box, if you have it. It might have been included with the Nav/COMAND system only.

Thank you i will check
Mine came with the aux jack in the glove box. I just plug my ipod/mp3 player in there and switch to aux on the COMAND and go.

yours was better than mine
I read this as IP hook-up to a 2003 C32. For a second, I thought he was talking about an IP address
Would've been a much funner thread if it was "I Hooked Up In a 2003 C32"

You will only have the aux jack in the glove box if you have COMAND. There is not an input for you to hook an adapter to with the standard cassette deck. There is a thread on here somewhere where a member took the cassette deck and modified it to have an RCA jack. It eliminated the tape function though. Search around for that if that is something that you would want to do. It is a really old post.

Not possible!
I don't know if 2003 models have the same head unit (non-nav) as the 2002 models. I have done a ton of research on this - and if you have the same head unit as me (see attached picture) then unfortunately there is no ipod or aux option, period.
I've considered buying a Comand 2.0 unit but they run close to $1000K - no thanks.
Personally, I use a $10 tape adapter for my ipod and it works great.

Mine looks ghetto (white cord going into the tape deck) along with a myriad of other wires (GPS, etc.)!

Mine looks the same. maybe I will just get the adpater that plugs into the lighter that charges and tunes to a radio freq not in use. Just have to scroll through the songs by hand.

I have one of those FM transmitters also - IMO, it sucks. Another way to rig it is to use the FM transmitter from a satellite radio unit - had decent luck with that.

There was a post on here yesterday - you can get a module that plugs into your antenna lead behind the dash and gives you RCA plugs. Has to be better than an iTrip, those things suck.

I do have the Aux input but then again I have NavW/Comand the link is from installer.com I cant vouch for them though. If you use Itunes on your Ipod you should be able to create a playlist of your favorites. The FM transmitter I use does not sound as great as Cds but it works Very well but bothersome spot where located but try installer.com and see what they offer
