erick, dont mean to thread jack or get off the C32 topic but check this pic out of my turbo 16V she is back together and running ask Jerry what she sounds and looks like in person. I cant wait to get her on the dyno last time she was on did 392rwhp @16.8psi.. I did some upgrades so once properly tuned im shooting for around 500rwhp @ 21-22psi

Erick, good choice on going with the 16G set up. If it's still not enough, you can very easily upgrade since there are many variations and bolt in replacements for the 16G (Big16G, 20G, FP Green, FP Red).
Question: Where are you guys tapping the oil supply on the engine? Is there already an access point, or will you have to drill & tap?

Also if you can get a turbine cover for each turbine housing.
Those turbos as you know are used on DSM's and when folks buy them the first thing they do is port them to prevent the turbo also from spiking. They are very restrictive inside.
Dave Buschur at www.buschurracing.com can port them for you he is located in Ohio and knows those turbos like the back of his hand.
However it is coming along sweet I must tell you.

Eric the guys right, those turbine housings do need to be ported or you can upgrade those turbine housings to 8cm turbine housings which would give you more power. Those on there are 7cm housings.

once everything is up and running, it will not be hard to pull the turbos off and port them or swap to a 8cm housing...
thanks for the input guys...

02 C32 AMG sold!
Having a bigger housing is needed when the turbo is undersized for the motor
/ chocking on the top end. Erick is using (2) of these turbos, so it should be
sufice. Dave may know standerized turbo but Erick is getting hands on trial
and error with this project. Whoever is intested in this project you are in
good hand with Erick's experience / knowledge.

Based on what you're saying, you'd theoretically have to be at 615 rwhp to be maxing out two of these turbos. Assuming you might want to be at 80% of max for a safe cushion, that would be right at 500 rwhp, give or take. Exciting stuff mi amigo...

trust me, i know, i used to have an Evo8, i am very famaliar with these turbos and what they are capable of, that is why i picked these particular turbos...Dave is a great guy and you are right, he knows his stuff, but i want to see how the car behaves with the turbos as is before i start porting and polishing everything...

you will also need to see something, they are rated at 380hp for sure, but if thats with 4 cylinder -> 1 output , u are now using 3 cylinder -> 1 for easch turbo, u won't get 380hp out of it

In this particular case, it'd be 1.6 liters per turbo - which is less than 1.8L 4 cylinder with one turbo ... so it might not be 380hp - which I guess is why I said "theoretically" in the first place - either way, this should be one fast beast of a C32
