My man you have NO IDEA what my mind is going through. I'm about to a
point that I'm going to sell the C32 and buy a W211 E55 and call it a day.
Don't get me wrong, in the dyno it does fine, on the streets it does fine, on
the highway it pulls like a monster. I just can't get it to run fast on the 1/4.
I've had my fair share of runs at the strip, so I think I know what I'm doing too.

Don't give up I bet there is something that you may of missed...I am new to this and had never tracked a car prior to the C32....so you and this forum know alot more then me...I learned some/alot from very efficient track people cough ChicagoX but by no means am I a scientist is this...maybe you should try another track and compare I will try Byron Dragway also this Spring/Summer to see if there are any differences.

about making the drive to make 3-4 passes. The next one is 2-2.5 hours North
of me.
it's a Dynojet 2: same or lower because of the fans CAN'T SIMULATE WOT
AIR EFFECT. Dynoing, street racing, highway racing isn't the problem, it's
the 1/4 ET & MPH times.
ear to ear every time, if I wanna go fast I'll hop over to my EVO or M3

It seems that you put good work into you car...if you are not entirely sold on a w211 E55 I'd say don't waste you money...I trusly desire a CLS55/63 and unless I got a fabulous deal on a E55 I won't switch..the E55 has so much more to offer but I love the body style of the CLS more then the E class. Re-dyno car to see if any changes and re-track it when you can. I have heard about Morosso being known for slower times.....you should consider checking out the construction of it maybe at mid to top there is an un-noticable slope and it effects your power...til the eight you are doing great but after is the downfall.

my C32 and if I upgrade it'll be the W211 E55, no ifs ands or buts. You gotta
understand something, ever since I started to do upgrades on this car, I've
been on the dyno over a dozen times and 4 trips to the drag strip. The
only part this car is letting me down is the drag strip, everything else has
been making me smile from ear to ear. The car is great. I'm just tired of
sinking money and time into the car and not getting everything that I'm
suppose to get.

C32 AMG
I just read the latest Road and Track. They have write-ups on the new Ferrari, Audi, Vette and Aston Martin (all V-8). They all have HP of between 380 and 430 bhp and TQ of between 302 and 428. The 1.4 miles range from 12.0 - 13.7.
So just to be clear, most of you guys are faster than these? Even thought your HP and TQ is nowhere near??

I realized that before I bought the car how good these cars really are in basic form...I just think we expect more with mods when in reallity we only make up a little at a time with each mod....I personally think the biggest gains will always be pulleys and Tune as basic bolt ons..everything else besides NOS is a little gain at a time...every car does react different to mods.
