Unhappy Car back in for service.... Any advice appreciated

I brought my car in for service at my dealer. As luck would have it as I was driving by it the car seemed to stutter at highway speed and the check engine light came on. The car went into limp mode and since the dealer was only five minutes away I decided to drop it off there.

The diagnosis they came up with was a failed charge air sensor and nice fee to go along with it. Has anyone come across this part failing? My car has less then 30k on the odometer.

After waiting several days for the part to come and sitting on a loaner. My car was ready to pick up. I dropped off the loaner , paid the tab and drove off happily off.

But wait.... I get up to highway speed and what luck again the car stutters and the damn check engine light comes on.

Well here's my problem the dealer can't find what the problem is. The car has been back to the dealer four times to fix a sensor and diagnosis why the check engine light keeps coming back. I've been trying to keep calm about the whole ordeal but I seem to be the only one to get the check engine light to kick back on after they reset it. Anyone have any ideals as to what causing this too happen?

You need to get a code scanner and tell us the code or have the dealer tell you which code the car is storing. We need the code to help you.

So after they replaced the sensor, you went back again 4 times, and each time the diagnosis comes back saying that the sensor is bad

If they replaced the sensor 4 times, then they either have a bad batch of sensors (unlikely) or something else is wrong. Could it be a transmission issue?

No, I don't think its a lemon. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact its a rather large dealership with high volume of cars going through. I apparently got lucky getting a tech that has little knowledge about my particular car and something got overlooked. It happens. The nice thing about it that the dealership has been in constant communication with me and provided a loaner.

At first thats what I thought. But, if it were transmission once it started it should be a consistent problem. The other we overlooked was the fact I've been adding coolant for the last month. Since I was going from a transition period, (summer to winter). I didn't pay much attention to it. I'm suspecting an intercooler or such. But we shall see.

Btw thanks everyone for the input.
