Dang! they want more than 2X's the dealer pricing for factory Brembo. What makes these that much better? I'm not so sure the rears are drilled either, it's just a generic pic, like the front and they don't specify, if its stock replacement or X-drilled.

Read carefully he is asking for rear crossdrilled rotors so thats what I posted. The 350 is for the set of the rear. It is the stock size but crossdrilled. I think it is not bad b/c no one else makes them unless you replace the complete thing with brembo and spend $2000. Btw they look pretty good you just have to paint the center b/c they get that rust color.

Guess what I just found? www.pagparts.com is selling the rears for $69 X-drilled by Zimmermann, heres the catch...... C32 only. Sorry, but I checked and they only list up to 2004, and I also checked if an 03-04 CLK55 used the same rear rotors as the C55, and nothing was listed.
I'll keep looking for a better deal than the Italian company for the C55.

For the rears, not likely to happen on the street, doubtful, even if you track it once and a while. It also depends on the style of drilling done to them. In my experience, rotors that do not have a tapered edge of some sort around the hole, will crack far easier.

yeah, I understood what you meant ok, I'm just being a little more cautious, since in the past I got burned by a Major brand name that had the advertising incorrectly listed. Their picture, which turned out to be a generic pic, was showing X-drilled and slotted, came to me stock vented for another car of mine . I noticed the listing did not have writing specific to the rears as X-drilled, and instead has the same ad as for the front. BTW, I'm not surprised with the price of the rears, as I am for the front, which is already X-drilled Brembo/Zimmermann.

just get the 4-piston AMG/brembo rear. $1300-1400 ish. it cost more, but not much more consider the advantage of it. quality vs unknown brand. replacement for the 4-piston rotors are not that expensive either.
i got mine red to match my front brembo GT 355.

Did this happen to b brakeperformance.com. They advertised Xdrilled but the fine print said dimpled rotors which looked fake. I sne them back and now fighting them with Paypal over false advertising. Their ad specificaly said Xdrilled, at the bottom it said in small letters that they were dimpled, which i did not read at the time of purchasing

Well I guess that answers it! Mikegpr03, that web link I posted should work for your C55! That has got to be one of the least expensive X-drilled brake rotors I have ever seen. Since Brembo/Zimmermann are factory parts I feel safe with that brand name.
