The dyno dynamics seems to be the most accurate for testing gains between different days / mods.

I have made over 150 pulls in the past year testing mods out. By the end of last year, the dyna pak shop was giving me free dynos because I exceeded their "all you can dyno" yearly rate.
+1. dyno jets are very inconsistent.

I can ask Neihouma if they would do this. He set it up for me.

I 4got that my 299/290 rwhp/tq were uncorrected so it seems that my numbers would of averaged about 3-5 hp more putting me around his numbers...but I used the stock 17" rims thou while he used 19" I think. I think I will try one more dyno with all my current mods at your dyna pak place in the spring...

I was actually refering to the late Holden-based GTO on the dyno...I have an 05. Here's a pic of my 65 per your request. It was featured in the September 2007 issue of Hemming's Muscle Machines magazine in the "Modified Muscle" section. It's been given the pro-touring treatment with modern suspension upgrades, brakes, etc. Enjoy!

I'm not that old either, but I think I know the commercial you're talking about. It was for the 69 or 70 GTO IIRC.

Here's a shot of the 05 just for kicks:

I wouldn't worry too much about yout dyno...I feel the numbers are correct.

I know I posted a pic of my uncorrected dyno-jet numbers in this forum somewhere.

I like both, But of course the relic more.
I recently spent a month in Australia and while in an outback town, strolled into a HSV dealership in Kalgoorlie and wanted to take a look at the HSV 308 (souped up G8). Needless to say I knew a little bit about the car, but was offered a drive round the block. Didnt get far, but was pretty cool.

Felt like a little Mad Max there. Not as fast as my C32 bit I liked the v-8 sound
Every car over there has the LS1 motor, even grandmas in station wagons.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. The 65 is a blast to drive. It's running a 7.3L (439ci) Pontiac engine with a tripower set up (3 2bbl carbs). It's a blast to drive with torque for days. In the spirit of the thread, the engine dynoed 440 HP and 501 TQ at the flywheel. The old Goat handles better than my new GTO!

The 05 is also fun for it's own reasons. The LS2 is very impressive in how it's put together and the potential it has for modification and higher power outputs. I'll give GM credit for nailing the engines down.
