C32 vs Turbo'd G35 Coupe, Mark IV Supra, video
not sure if anyone is interested in this or not. i originally put this in the kills section, but didnt have the video at the time. i dont know how to change the thread title and i figured you guys would be more interested in this section anyway. if admins want to move this, feel free.
went out a couple of nights ago with a couple of buddies.
Raced a Mark IV Supra. Automatic, stock twins, BPU (intake, exhaust) on race gas (100 octane). Went from a 40 mph roll to 120 and got beaten by at least 4-5 car lengths. I was in mid second for some reason and he was at the top of first. I wasnt in my powerband, so we went from a slower roll at 30 mph when i was in 1st gear. This time, he only pulled about 3 cars lengths. He is brake boosting if you look carefully. I wish i could do that
Also raced a Turbo'd G35 from a dig. He didnt hook up from the launch. Neither did I, but he got less traction than I did. I also jumped a little, as you can see in the video. I had a full car on him up to about 70 and he started pulling back and slowly passed me until about 120, at which he was about a car or car and a half ahead.
Fast cars, good runs, no traffic around.

C32's gearing sucks at low speed around 40-55.
if i'm going against someone and i'm doing around 50mph...if I use 3rd i'm way below the power band and if i force it into 2nd i'm almost in the red which is no good either.

yah. in that second run when i started in 1st, i was almost in the red, though i had a better outcome (not that its saying much)

yah its pretty quick. he is planning on doing a single turbo conversion soon. he already has a built motor. i think on pump gas, he was putting down 450+ hp to the wheels. i ran him on 100 octane and he said that bumped him up 2lbs of boost. he has those turbos maxed out.

i suggest you get the FMIC soon.
running above 100 creates tons of heat and high ITA's...
you probably would of been able to keep the G35 away but not the Supra.
Once you have it.. and if you have a chance.. would love to see more runs.. as long as everybody is safe.

yah, i have my heat exchanger sitting in the garage. i havent gotten around to installing it. maybe this weekend. more runs will be done/filmed.
