Yup I've had people argue that it wasn't a Neon and that it was a SRT4. In which I said yup still a Neon. That normally pissed them off

Welcome to the club. Glad to have more AMG engines running around Houston. I am always down for a good photoshoot. My old Olympus DSLR really cant cut it any more, so LMK if you want to put something together... I am not sure if people have taken C32/SRT-6 together... I bet they would make a good combo though. I am in the woodlands but will be moving to westhimer/610 area pretty soon so pm me if you want to get some shots and meet up with another member.

In a way I understand but the reality is its known as a neon...but not the regular neon a far superior neon tagged SRT4 I would be proud to have it called a neon cause I as many know its far from an ordinary neon

well, the big issue people have is that the word neon doesnt appear anywhere on the car. there is no badge, its not on the owners manual, etc.

BUT.....lets be real here....its a neon.

i look at the SRT as a trim level.

I agree about that. Dodge purposely tried to pull the car out of the "neon" class. On a side note think about this: You say you drive an srt-8... if you say thats what you drive there are 3 cars that share the same name... 300c, Charger, and Cherokee. I agree on the trim comment as well.

I totally agree, and that's the argument I've thrown out on the morons that say otherwise.

Many folks call the Neon and Caliber the NSRT-4 and CSRT-4.

Some people get pissed because it should be SRT-4 (NO 'N'!!!) and CSRT-4.

With more than one SRT-4 currently out on the market, just GIVE UP! Put the 'N' in front of it!

At least do it for the sake of making a conversation about the two less confusing.

I'm in Humble, BTW, so it wouldn't be too hard to meet up. Once all of this junk weather clears out, we should take some pics.

Everyone who doesn't own a SRT-4 calls it that way and its funny cuz thinking SRT-4 you are still thinking Neon or Caliber I would be happy calling it a Neon

Hi,
What mods for your SRT4 do you still have/pricing? I could probably hook you up with a friend of mine.

Eh, its totally stock, now. Looking for less than 10K.

I've got 2 people looking at it this weekend, but its really a hell of a daily driver....so I'm debating on keeping it...

Oh sorry.

Stage 3 (No toys) complete kit with a 3" 02 housing: $2200

Stage 3 AGP WGA: $150

Stage 1 PCM (2004/2004): $300

Perrin Up Pipe with a greddy flange (for Type S, RS, etc): $60

Mopar Short Throw Shifter: $60

I think that's all that I feel like taking off of the car. I've got a Southbell stage 3 clutch and, motor mount inserts, but its really not worth digging into the car to pull out.

I would be willing to bet money that the title says Dodge Neon SRT4.
