Tump43,
Overall, nice mods!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Your rwtq numbers are very impressive, but I'm a bit surprised by your rwhp - I thought modded C55s with ECU/headers/etc. would make more rwhp than a Stage II C32 - there are even some Stage I cars that have dyno'd around 350 rwhp, IIRC.
Also, FWIW, I think it's pretty well established that w203 AMGs have about 17% driveline loss - assuming 21% is probably being overly-generous on your crank hp guess IMHO.
Do you track your C55? If so, it'd be interesting to know what 1/4 mi & mph your car can achieve...
Overall, nice mods!

Tump43,
First of all, thank you for taking the time to post this information; it’s very helpful.
So, basically, (using the SAE figures):
(Blue)Evosport underdrive pullies + Renntech CF airbox+AMS crank pulley+Green Filters
=303.58RWHP
=317.60RWTQ
(Resulted in a gain of ??)
Evosport V8 headers
=317.89RWHP
=332.59RWTQ
(Resulted in a a gain of 14RWHP/15RWTQ)
Evotech ECU
=324.31RWHP
=342.33RWTQ
(Resulted in a gain of 7 RWHP/10RWTQ)
The Evosport V8 headers yield about 14 RWHP and 15 RWTQ – not bad (still expensive IMO though).

You will definately feel (according to the butt dyno) and see (per a real dyno) the greatest hp/tq after installing a set of good headers. The other mod's simply allow the AMG engine to function the way it should and, IMHO, as it was originally intended by AMG.
My tuner guy said evotech and renntech headers produce the same gains on a C55, but the renntech headers are higher quality, will last longer and look better being made of stainless as opposed the ceramic coated mild steel used in the evosport headers. I won't keep the car long enough to justify the $3,000.00 price difference though.
Regards,

I agree with you guys, my numbers don't quite add up to give me my quarter mile time.
My mods: renntech pulley and chip, eisenmann race exhaust, sl y pipe, 18" renntech monolites, light-weight battery
here's the dragtimes slip and you can click on the link with my timeslip.

I didn't dyno my car before the mods, so I can't say what gains I got. The most I can think of is that the dyno is incorrect or the power didn't translate properly during the dyno.
You guys can ask BlackBenzz about my runs since he was there when it happened. Otherwise, this is as much I can defend myself.

No problem, it must be an incorrect dyno number

Apologies for the thread hijack. Got the car back and surprisingly I can feel a difference with my butt dyno. Car pulls harder in the midrange. Also I would recommend the Swaintech White Lightning coating to anyone planning on headers. I popped the hood after a 20 mile drive today and the reduction in heat over the stock setup was pretty dramatic. I was really impressed with Swains coating.
