However, it SHOULD negatively affect anytime you're accellerating at even fairly modest levels, since the S/C engages at a fairly low load level.
YMMV (literally...), but my guess is that long-term average MPG will drop by a point or two if a stock C32 adds this mod. Coupled with the fact that the cost of the mod will equal (conservatively) 3,000 miles worth of gas at today's prices... I just don't see the logic of the "With the gas price going up, i think this product is great for our cars." comment, that's all.
Don't get me wrong - I think this is a great mod, especially "performance-bang-for-the-buck"... but let's not kid ourselves either, if you're looking for fuel efficiency, you've A. got the wrong car and B. are crazy to be modding it, IMHO.

Here is a quick shot of the best dyno. Ive got to cook dinner for the in-laws
But I was so excited, I just wanted to chime in with the numbers. Since I have been posting dynojet corrected numbers, I will post those up right now.
Car has 130k miles on it. All runs are on 91 octane...
Stock - 303.8/294.2
Pulley only - 324.8/320.9
Pulley + Intake - 337.8/334.5!!!
Gains:
Pulley only - 21rwhp/26.7rwtq
Pulley + Intake - 34rwhp/40.3rwtq!!!
The car is strong as hell with no belt slip. Anyway, enjoy!!!

By the way, its funny. With all the MPG talk, I happened to take a picture of my gas mileage on the way to the dyno. After 35 miles, I was pulling down 22.5, averaging 57mph.

he also has magnacor wires I believe. and his car is running very healthy since it has a big heat exchanger.
As we all know, not every C32 will dyno at 303RWHP or depending of the dyno used... which can vary from +/-10%
The real news is the gains with just the bolt on pulley and the super easy intake mod.
Brandon: On the intake. Does one need to do any cutting or modifications to make it work.
Last point: Wit the E55 guys running ASP pulley (like me) there is more and more evidence that ASP pullies will give you torque down low but does not yield any hp up on the higher end.
A few cars have been dyno'd and the same results.. torque but no HP (or just a few horses)
The E55 really needs ECU tuning to take advantage of the extra 3lbs of boost.
The C32 with a simple bolt on that creates more boost is able to adapt.
Either the ASP is simply too big and creates too much boost or the DME of the E55 is very strict and just makes the engine run very RICH.
The A/F levels are very rich on most of the ASP dyno's with NO ECU.

Interesting point to bring up A/F ratios... I don't see them on the dyno chart. Brandon, did you monitor A/F ratio while you were on the dyno? If so, can you post that graph as well? Congrats on the really strong #'s

- staying in a nice, safe range.
Interesting to see that it's running richer than stock - this mod creates more boost... more boost = more "air," so I guess the ECU adapts to the additional air by pumping in even more fuel than would be needed to maintain the stock A/F ratio

Here are some comparison dyno graphs, as well as the datalogging during the dyno. You will see that for the Pulley only run of 324.8/320.9, max boost was only 15.6psi. On the pulley/intake run of 337.8/334.5, max boost was only 16.4psi.

I will post pictures of the intake mod this week. The dyno shop is always amazed at how good the intake mod is, and never thought it would make the kind of power that it does They even bet against it the first time I brought it in
They always comment how much more responsive the car feels with the intake piece in place, and how noticeable it is between dynos. It is an easy piece to install and should take no more than 5-10 minutes. I will test it with a crank pulley car, but logic says it will make the same kind of additional power.
As you can see from the AF chart posted above, it supports my claims that ECU tuning is not needed.
From the previous pictures above, you can see that we are just finishing up the pulleys. They will be shipping this week. If you want to be guaranteed to be in on the first run, I would suggest purchasing from the website. We will be starting a larger second run as soon as this one finishes. The demand is huge, and the first run will be gone very quickly.

I need valid numbers. My car feels faster after I wax it. It's human nature.
Thats cause it is!!!! Quicker, maybe not, BUt there is empirical evidence that a clean waxed car is indeed faster than a dirty one in top speed, so this statement has some basis in fact. I know that my Stingray boat goes faster when I wax the hull (about 3 MPH on GPS) and air acts like a liquid, so a C32 may indeed be faster when waxed.

Yes, the car has the larger HE and Johnson pump. Otherwise, K&N filters, resonator delete, Magnecor wires, and $1.20 Autolite plugs gapped to 035

Plug gap is very important, and we have seen much better power curves on the upper end with the smaller gap. I have seen no evidence yet that a colder plug is required. We have inspected the electrode tips with a magnifying glass, and do not see any melting, erosion, or foreign material that would lead me to think there is any overheating.
You can see IATs are well under control on both runs. In fact, our IAT numbers drop with each run, not go up.

Absolutely no power loss whatsoever. Its simply the dyno operator. We dyno in fourth gear. These cars are very touchy in fourth, and want to downshift to third if you give it too much gas. The guy that normally does the German cars had to leave, so we did that run. I cant get on the gas like he does down low, and as soon as I pass the point I know it wont downshift, I hammer it
I will post a video when I get a chance. You can clearly hear the car is slowly being wound up, then hammered, which matches the posted dyno.
