So Brandon, Did the 2nd run of pulleys come in as expected?

And any status on the intake filters?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Question

I am more interested in knowing how the tests and dyno went supposedly with a cranked 178mm pullied car and adding the S/C pulley? If I recalled correctly it was suppose to get done this last Wednesday for the second try...

i got my pulley with the intake about a week ago. got about 200 miles on it with no problems at all. feels much quicker and the S/C sound is so much louder!! i am very happy with the intake and pulley so far, i just need a new IC pump before i can really feel the full power ya know? i also want to get a HE but im not sure which one is best, anyone have any opinions on one? im debating with going with code3 cause so far so good with their products, or im thinking about the LET HE cause i hear good things about it but i think its a little harder to install. what do u guys think?

I got an updated tune for the pulley from InMotion. I also have the intake mod installed and the S/C whine is sounding soooo cool. I am hoping for good weather this week so I can get in some 1/4 mile testing in.

Can you please make a new thread with just the results of the pulley mod dyno so we don't have to troll though this massive thread.

I am very keen to seen how the A/F ratios look when it is used in combination with an ASP pulley, and no tune... as tuning is very hard in Aus.

OK, the wagon train just arrived and I got the intake. It is two pieces of
phenolic and one green "foam " filter. Screws are included as well. Will give an update when installed.

Tuners love this kind of enthusiasm. Me thinks the IC pump is something that is either working or not -- you can gain (or at least not lose) horsepower if you increase cooling capacity and that requires a HE. But the pump alone is not going to change anything (unless your old pump is broken).

This is exactly what I'm planning to do: C3P pulley + HE + intake. Gotta love that s/c noise.

OK, here's a photo of the Code III Intake that I received Tuesday. Has not been installed as I am at work right now, BUT will send a review when completed.

Intakes - I apologize for the delay. I was told on Friday I would have these in my hands mid week. The time quote ended up being on the high side, not the low side. We are just waiting for the filters, thats it. Here is a shot of the die cut filter. The piece its sitting in is not part of the intake, it was just made for fitment purposes. The foam will be green. I will send these out upgraded shipping so that hopefully everyone will have them in their hands by the weekend.

Pulleys - Looks like end of next week I will have them back in stock. If you are considering a pulley, don't wait too long. After all of the positive reviews, they are flying off the shelf. They go fast! I actually have an aluminum one I did that I am going to test as well. Its light as a feather Not sure if I will offer them in Aluminum in the future, but it will be interesting to see the results. Also, I am currently testing a larger middle idler pulley for better tension and more belt wrap I am going to get my car back on the dyno with the new idler and see what she can do. It feels stronger with the new idler, especially down low.

As far as the crank pulley/sc pulley dyno, it got canceled. But, I was assured by the customer that it will happen this week for sure, most likely Wednesday night again.

Also, all good news to report on the belt front. Customers have been calling and letting me know how the car is driving, and how the belt looks. Nothing but rave reviews with no reports of belt wear. In fact, we are going to have 1/4 mile results this evening from the track event that LET had. The car with the SC Pulley had 34 miles worth of 1/4 mile runs today, and said the belt looks perfect. Look for times and videos this evening. It sounded like a fun event. I know there was a head to head run between SRT6s with the 185mm pulley and SC pulley

Just got back from a good couple test runs with the new middle idler. I saw 17lbs of boost at WOT every time in 3rd. It also jumps to 15-16lbs as soon as you stick it. It was very touchy today, with the t/c turned off it was still turning it on. Every time I would floor it from a dead stop it would spin for a second then active the t/c (even with it off). Half throttle from a dead stop it would smoke the tires. I can not wait to get this thing back to the track.

Also for all you guys that have the 178 crank pulley and have been waiting for the test of the two together. Brandon installed one on an SRT6 with the stock idler and a Goodyear Gator Back belt(its a 1/2 inch longer) and saw 21lbs of boost. He is going to dyno it tomorrow.

Yes, it is the one that Brandon is testing. I picked up 1lbs of boost and it responds much quicker. Sorry no photos of the intake on the car. I can take one if you want it looks about the same as stock.

I'd like to see how it look, haven't had a chance to install mine yet.

Why do you believe that it(idler pulley) increased the BOOST?? Is he selling these as well???
