K&N air filter $39.99??? to good to be true???
I just called AutoZone and was told for a 2005 C55 AMG K&N airfilter is only $39.99 each!? Part Number 33-2181 I couldn't believe the price was so low i thought it was an error and made the person at AutoZone read the part number and car info back to me 3 times. Is this what they are going for these days? I payed $52 each for K&N's for my 2001 S500. I told the lady this seems to good to be true and Was assured that it was the right part for my app. I have to go down there and order them and they will be in in 2 days.

Well, in about 3 minutes surfing the 'net, I googled this and was able to find C55 K&N filters for $38.50 each (and with free ground shipping) from autoanything.com - you might be able to find even cheaper, if you keep digging. The internet is definitely your friend, when it comes to searching for this type of stuff... good luck!

just picked my K&N's up at checker auto for $37.99 each. that air filter restriction test they had there was cool to see how much a paper filter blocks air flow and how much air flow K&N filters allow.
