Nice Why do you have front side markers since you are in Canada? I thought we are the only ones that get it in the US.
looks sharp! OEM mods are the best!

Oh my mistake, I should have noticed. Do you find it more convenient to have the remote display there than to look up at the detector? I have mine mounted high up just to the left of the rearview mirror and it gets great detection and I don't really mind looking up.

The main reason i use a remote display is because I always mute the V1 when I'm driving around in the city (Too many falses). With this remote display, i can easily see the threats (or falses) without looking up.

Sorry, but a few more questions;
Was it a straight plug-and-play operation, or do you need to recode anything or adapt wiring connectors?
Where did you get it?
I understand that the digital setup includes a carbon smog filter setting in addition to the Recirculation function. Do you know if the the analog system has the same filter?
thx

Please share information. I am planning a few modifications to my interior and car this spring and this is one of them. I know I will need it coded after install but I purchased a HVAC controller in hopes it would work - When I mean work I mean do all of the same features my "manual" control did - I want NONE of the "automatic" controls or the charcoal filter, I only want to add REST for winter use. I understand that the automatic and the manual are two totally different systems made up of even a different number of flaps…
I bought A203-830-19-85...But there at least three numbers that I know of...all having to do with (I am hoping) REST and logo layout.
Thanks,
Jake
(I do not want to damage any of my HVAC components, the PWM motors, the heater valves or the fan - I want to gain no feature but REST and I will be completely happy if I can get the interior design aesthetic to be more unified...Thanks)
I have seen people putting remote radar displays in a hollow front PTS screen - that looks great and OEM!
Mexico does NOT have front side markers...Shoot if Canada had solid front impact strips I would have taken the 40 minute drive years ago for them!
I have seen more Canadian cars with CLIMATRONIC and REST - I think because REST is a great winter feature - Canada also can have a factory block heater as an option...I wanted both of those items for my car here south of Buffalo, NY.
Thanks - and congrats on the install - I see it reads out in Celsius too!
